minimal 25th August 2006, 15:31 Hi najdo from a fellow aussie (and fellow N70 owner).
You can get the 5.68 Australia map here:
h**p://www.megaupload.com/?d=3O1X0ZXU
I've uploaded the instructions file that came with the voices I have, it details the steps you need to install and use the different voices available.
Enjoy, and let us know if you have any problems. :)

Hi najdo,
Just copy the 3 voice files you've got into the folder named ' voices ' on your memory card :D

band160 26th August 2006, 05:05 hi all im new here....have downloaded aussie map but cant see the voices folder?....any help appreciated....thanks
Russell1 26th August 2006, 11:47 Hi band160, you also need the Tomtom programme - either for mobile or pda depending on what device you've got, both versions are available in this section. Once installed you'll find you'll have a voice folder in there - you'll also find plenty of celebrity voices in this section.

Have you installed TomTom to your memory card? I have a voices folder in the root of my memory card. If it wasn't created during the TomTom install, just try creating it yourself and putting the voices files in there.

minimal 29th August 2006, 16:55 Anyone know when an updated Aussie map will be available
It's scheduled for Q3 2006, but I don't have an exact date. I believe the Australian maps for the Garmin units were released earlier this month (they use the Sensis maps as does TomTom) so it should be any day now.

Thanks mate!
Problem is, I have a sneaking suspicion that this Version 650 map is not compatible / won't work on a TomTom GO 500 anyway:???:
Can anyone confirm this?
Cheers.
Russell1 27th November 2006, 21:20 If you go to the Tomtom site you can upgrade your Go 500 to software version 6.250, then using the keygen posted in this forum you will be able to use the new map :D

markr154 30th November 2006, 23:23 G'day all,
As I am a complete retard when it comes to technology ...could someone please, please HELP ME:???:
I've got a TomTom GO 500, I've just downloaded the version 6.250 software from the TomTom site ...but I've got an older version of the Australian map.
I desperately want the LATEST Aussie map ...so can one of you guys help me out in one reply by:
1. Posting a link to the LATEST suitable AUSSIE map for download? (I'll save it in a designated folder on my computer)
2. Posting a link to the KEYGEN that I'll need to get the map running on my GO 500 ...along with STEP-BY-STEP instructions as to how & where I should save it?
3. Posting an STEP-BY-STEP process to installing the MAP and KEYGEN on my GO 500 so that it all works OK?
If someone could do this for me ...I will be ETERNALLY grateful ...and will extend a permanent invite to the person to come and hang out with us DOWN UNDER! (Perth, Western Australia)
Cheers guys ...hope one of ya's can sort me out!:win:
markr154 1st December 2006, 03:39 G'day there,
Can someone please respond to all the queries in BLUE below?
I need to be given a 'dummies' STEP-BY-STEP guide through all this!
First question ...do I need my TomTom powered up & connected to my PC before performing the steps below?

Open the command window in windows.

Someone please help ...as I need to get the current Australian Map working on my GO 500 A.S.A.P!!!

@ Mark - please ask you question ONCE - do not post the same question in different threads. After takingsome time to reply to the above I find someone else has already replied to your other post.
