I'm tring to find a software that can control the master volume of my phone.

You know, like the one in the system try of windows. Somthing that will limit the volume.

Enybody knows?

There is no such thing unfortunately. Each programs controls its sound settings individually I'm afraid.

It would be nice to limit the volume of some games which don't have proper sound settings.

Would it be possible to completely silence a phone so the loudspeaker is turned off, like a silent profile but which stops games/apps from making any noise aswell - it would be handy for playing games in a public environment when you don't want the game making a noise when you start it up before you can get to the settings.

I refuse to believe this as a fact. My n95 volume down button is broken, and i do not have the headphone wire to use it to decrease... i can't understand why Nokia did not make an app / system to decrease the volume WITHOUT the god damn button.. You can check their forums, thousands of people have the same problem and Nokia has not given a single solution... What a crap load of ****. They really do not care about their customers at all. I used to be all about Nokia have had this n95 for 2 years, but am never getting a nokia again. They just defy basic logic.
