I use FExplorer in my nokia 6600 as file manager, but the problem is dat i cannot send .sis files via bluetooth. Can someone tell me how to should i do dat? Or else can someone suggest me any other file manager which allows .sis files to be send by bluetooth

sis files are protected and are not allowed to be sent by BT, some file-explorers get around this. Try ProfiExplorer, it will send all protected files.

P.S. ProfiExplorer gets bundled with ProfiMail, so when you install ProfiMail you will also get an extra icon in your menu for ProfiExaplorer.

1. Rename the File.sis -> File.cia and then send over the FExplorer;
2. Use ProfiExplorer and you can send File.sis unlimited! :)

Well...you can try usin Fexplorer to rename the extension of the .sis to .txt and send to other s60 phone. It works. For .jar after changing to .txt you'll have to manually change the extension name back to .jar using fexplorer or and file explorer that has the access to ur inbox.

just rename to *.Si and send. In NOKiA 7710 you must rename to *.JPG only !

best thing to do is just install profimail available in the forum register it and then send files of any extension easily .profiexplorer has no file sending restrictions as far as i know

the best think to do is to add ".txt" to the file in FEexplorer and send it via blutooth,

I.e::: 'file.sis' will be renamed to 'file.sis.txt'

that way, the person who recieves it will not have to rename it and can install it directly from the message inbox because the file will still be recognized as a native ".sis" file../.

Hope this helps dude..all the best

Dont bother about the renaming & sending.. It doesn't work most of the time. Install Profimail & ProfiExplorer comes bundled with it. Use ProfiExplorer to send whatever you want :-) ProfiExplorer Rocks!!!
P.S.: I've installed Profimail just to get ProfiExplorer! Heh heh..
