I have been told it is Tomtom 6 for PPC, uncracked (as yet).
Unable to verify as to what it really is as I do not own a PPC.

1. Make sure u repack it in the cab, and delete setup.dll from the cab, else it wont install!

2. How2 Debranch the incompatible device msg.

Just been having a play with TT6 to see if it will work on my Imate SP3 smartphone with Windows 2003SE operating system.

Here's what I found:

I currently have TT5 on my phone, with the V5xxx Guam map and Great Britain V605.
I downloaded this file, http://rapidshare.de/files/31451337/tt6.rar
which has a cracked exe in it called TomTom Navigator.exe.

Now, make a backup of your original files, TomTom MOBILE.exe and data.chk in your TT5 installation, and keep them safe.

Also, I downloaded this file, http://rapidshare.de/files/31384644/t6.rar.html and took out the data.chk file from the tomtom folder.

I renamed the TomTom Navigator.exe file to TomTom MOBILE.exe and copied this, together with the new data.chk file to my tomtom folder on my storage card.

I then added the new GUAM Map, http://rapidshare.de/files/23199290/Guam_650.rar.html to my storage card.

To my surprise, TomTom started up, and asked me to activate the guam map, at which point I gave up, through lack of time.

But, it looks like it works, so, if anybody wants to try on their phone, please let us know what the outcome was.

It may also work on a Symbian phone, but, I do not have one of those.

If you want to revert back to TT5, just copy your original TomTom MOBILE.exe and the original data.chk file back into the Tomtom folder on your storage card.

i dont think this crackd ver is for palm os...whatever instructions posted are for ppc...unless someone can plzzz suggest what to do to make it work!!! i installed...finds the map but asks me for activation code and when randomly input any #'s as suggested by someone, it just says sorry this is incorrect activation code for ****map....help guys...

hi i do every thing close firewall close antivirous but the same result i think i m so unluck to get working app of tomtom bcz i download t6&tt6 but when i put in my memory card and replace the setup file with the cark tomtom exe and remove the three thing in the folder 2577 but sitll got error that failed to start :cry: can any body send working crack of tomtom6 on my yahoo id ami_jhelum@yahoo.com i will try it again thanx

Installation Instructions:

1. Copy all files and folders in 'COPY_TO_SD_CARD' to your SD card.
2. Run 'ttn6ifalleni.cab' in folder 'CRACKED_SETUP'.
3. reboot when asked for.
4. Run 'tt6today.cab' in folder 'CRACKED_SETUP' to get the TomTom link on your Today Screen.
5. Copy other Maps for TT6 on your SD card (not included)
6. Enjoy

No maps are included, apart from Guam, but some are available further up this topic

I cannot do it as I do not have a PPC, but I'm sure other member's would appreciate viewing your results, whether good or bad.

when i click there its start again and the same result

I get this exact same problem since i changed ip's. I think its something to do with my dynamic ip. But rapidshare is even less helpful at solving this problem. I always say to people put on megaupload or an alternative. We cant be expected to close our firewalls in the hope it might work and then get some other trojan through while the firewall is open.

It works on WM2003 SE. From first impressions it looks good. There is no rotate screen option. :cry: prefer to have the wider display when using Tomtom but not all the time.

No, they did the right thing. They put out all non-important buttons.
Just rotate screen, before you start TomTom and it will work. I think it is better sollution than in TomTom5.

Great you could install it eventually.

For others with same question, 'ttn6ifalleni.cab' can also be with a different name, such as "ttn6.cab".

Can´t download the DE_AT_CH_PL_CZ_Plus-Map_v632.zip 407mb (Germany, Austria ...)

the download-speed is too slow (2.2kb ;-) ...

Anyone have these map or a 6.5 version on a faster server like RapidShare?
TT6 don´t want my Germany 6.05 version,- it needs really a higher one.
Please only the DE_AT_CH_PL_CZ_Plus-Map_v632 or 6.50 -the Western and Central Europe Map 6.5 is a little bit too big: 1,29 GB !

Yeah i saw that two days ago!

Im just worried that it wont work on my spanking new n73.
I think TomTom hate the N series since tomtom issues with N70.

On www.tomtom.com it says that TomTom6 only work on the E61. But I've read on other forums that tomtom is testing the V6 on the N91.

Im almost sure that they couldnt not produce a symbian version but i reckon it'll be 3rd edition only which will pee off most people that currently own TomTom as they will need to upgrade phone as well.

what about TomTom Mobile?? In the support list stands the Nokia E61. And they are testing other phones (i heard)

The E61 is symbian 3rd edition so therefore it should work on all 3rd editions. right? (n80, n73, (fingers crossed!) n93 etc )

I reckon they just cant be bothered to test it on the N series cos of the mess that they had with TomTom mobile5 on the n70!

Maybe - all just ideas!

New easy GB release. Some modifications all detailed below.

Instructions

1. Download and Extract the RAR to your Storage Card.

2. Run ttn6_setup.cab

3. Select where you want to install them i.e Device or Storage card (recommend device for speed).

4. Run TomTom and configure, when asked to activate say 'Manual' and then 'Activate' Enter anycode you like i.e ABC.

TomTom NAVIGATOR 6 includes a number of new features that greatly improve the product.
Unfortunately, these features require more memory and processing power when compared to NAVIGATOR 5 and MOBILE 5.

In addition, TomTom now offers many new maps, which are bigger and more detailed than the old maps. These maps also require more memory and processing power in the device.

Question
Will updated versions of NAVIGATOR 6 be compatible with more devices?
Answer

We are constantly increasing the compatibility of our software, and will regularly release updates of NAVIGATOR 6 that are compatible with more products.

These updates will most probably include compatibility with newly introduced devices rather than older devices. The minimum system requirements for mobile devices running NAVIGATOR 6 mean that, in many cases, NAVIGATOR 6 is not compatible with older devices.

Hey guys, i'm a new user here, so sorry if this is a stupid question. Downloaded the TT6 set up and GB map, and i'v just looked in the COPY_TO_SD_CARD folder on my PC and there is no CRACKED_SETUP folder. Does it make a difference that i haven't copied it to my SD card yet?

Yes good bit of kit and as the W950 has a 4GB memory lots of maps can be added :supz:
