How can I change IMEI without flashing

when I change IMEI without flashing, the w300 gets dead, I flash it with the MCU and PPM flashes and the phone turns on, how can I change IMEI without flashing

My IMHO - it is impossible to change without flashing....

Yes it is posible to change imei without flash the phone, all you need to know can find in "new arm inside v2.8 user manual.pdf" , can find it in

c:\Program Files\GriffinTeam\MT SonyEricsson\New ARM inside v2.9 MT\user manuals\

If have proper FLR (restore) file you don't need to flash the phone to able change imei. This is also valid for unlock.

when I read the phone and unluck, there is an error "0003", but this only presents error with a phone that has been flashed with universal box or usb smart, how can i solve this problem

my z520 presents error

Error "0003" mean no comunication with phone, check battery.

Hello Sir,

tried also to change imei from a k300i using the plug in according to manual. Although none error msg came up the imei number did not change. Keep as the old one even using the plugin with the new number.
