i want to upgrade the firmware on my V3X but am having problems..

All the guides I read on upgrading firmware skip the whole first step, the connection of the phone Via usb

I have the motorola tools that come with the phone installed and can get connectivity through that..i can also get connectivity thru the mmc as a storage device….

But I cant get it to connect thru P2K commander or anything…

Can someone please tel me the first basic steps to get this to work….

did u try changing usb connectivty 2 fax/data mode ???? itl b in the connection menu....
