having trouble with a non genuine copy of windows xp.. you need to read this

like my title for this thread says.. if you get nags for owning a non legit copy from microsoft .. when you download .. or when you try and install a download...

I have a reg hack that can give you a fully functional working copy of windows xp, thats right folks.. you will be the prowd owners of legit copys of xp.. and all you need to do is simply click a small file.

no need to search the net and wait for crackers to crack the latest patches.. go directly to the microsoft site and download with freedom..

dont get me wrong.. this solutionis not a windows system activater .. nor is it a wga nag fix.. it is a brand new solution that will make your copy of windows appear legit even if you use firefox to update and you need to install a plugin.. it will still work.

works a charm, but dont just take my word for it see my screen shots, I installed a pirate copy of windows mce .. just to testmy latest work.

directions

extract the rar file to your desktop and double click the reg tweak to add the crack into the registry.. if you dont want to beleive me... then carry on going through life with a pirate version of xp and dont get valid updates and free tools.

this file is unique.. dont spread it out into the net, file is password protected

well it works.. I dont post web crap.. or files that dont work... I only post files that I have tested myself, written myself or things I know alot about...

and maybe ppl havent found my post yet.. give it time.. or maybe alot of users have gone out and purchased legit copys of windows.

this was a PM from a fellow user.. I thought I would post it as it may come in handy to others.

hey there i did download it and it worked well it said the message my windows is now gen but when i went on microsoft it said my windows is not genuine i rolled back the com do i need to go to updates and put in not to download wga tool that validates my windows still thankyou

ok what i did was I installed a crappy version of windows with a fake generated key.. that they would flag... and I couldnt download or install anything... I use firefox.. and opera.. not internet explorer for many reasons...

so microsoft site told me when I went to download that my windows was a fake.. as I knew it would... then I ran my file... closed bown all the browser windows, then went back to that download... because there was cookies set it still said that I had a fake version.. so it asked me to install a validation tool.. which I then downloaded and ran and then the browser took me to my download and when I went to install it after it had finished downloading it all worked no prompts or nags.

are you trying to get the latest update...
do you have service pack 2 installed if you dont then you should download and install it.. with my crack you wont get bugged for the download of microsoft applications or application downloads.

get service pack 2 from below

ok to turn on automatic updates.. you need to do the following:

1. Click start
2. Control Panel
3. then click system
4. a new window will popup
5. next click the automatic updates tab
6. make sure its set to Automatic (recommended)
7. next set the date and time you dant the updates to download..I use daily at a time when I will be at the computer.
8. then click ok.

when the updates are ready to download, you will see a yellow sheild in the bottom right hand side of your screen... you will only see this if you have service pack 2 installed.

It worked as I was able to update windows media player to version 10 and the internet explorer to version 7. I had my automatic updates turned on, and while browsing your thread I noticed a yellow icon which was downloading updates. Various security updates were installed and I was asked to restart my PC. When it restarted, a pop-up or nag appears on my task bar saying this windows is not a genuine copy.

I tried using your file again and the pop-up & blue star like icon disappears. But when I restart my computer, the nag and pop-up appears again.

Any solution for this sir? Please....

you have the wga bug fix on your pc... microsoft asked users to installa security patch.. but its not a patch at all it is their lame attempt to stop ppl like me. use another tool that removes that socalled hotfix.

@acidax, youre a genius bro! I have a question if you dont mind. Should I have Service Pack 2 first before I download updates, etc for my XP? Because I am still using the SP1. I read in the previous page the link to download SP2. I went there but theres a message that I should not use that download link if I am just upgrading one computer. It says I should use Automatic Update instead.

What would you suggest..should I go ahead and download and install SP2 or should I just do it thru Automatic Update?

I just like sp2 because I get automatic updates.. now that your windows is legit you can use automatic updates.. so why not take advantage.

when I am talking about automatic updates... I dont mean what microsoft means.. a online web installer, their online installer is crap and only works with internet explorer.. I use mozilla so no good to me so I use the automatic update tool in XP SP2 see my screen hot to see what I am talking about.

And Here's my small tutorial for the people to check your Copy of Xp is Genuine Or not!

1. First go Here (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/exeValidation.aspx?familyid=435BFCE7-DA2B-4A6A-AFA4-F7F14E605A0D&displaylang=en) : Read instructions and follow!

2. Download the attachment Genuine Check For Xp.Zip and open it.

3. It give the screen as below

hi, i downloaded the file yesterday and tried it out! it worked fine. but when i reboot my system the alert is still there.. that my copy is not genuine. So i just click on the file and again and it disappeared. Any suggestions on how to make it permanently or it is just that way? Thanks!

guys you have the wga bug installed on your systems.. that bug is undoing my fix.. I have my fix installed and it is there all the time even after I reboot... microsoft released a trojan like package that monitors all wga (windows Genuine Advantage) cracks and fake activation softwares and deletes the mods that they make.... but once you activate it the wga software wont install on your system.. problem over.

below is information about the tool that your asking, I have installed it .. it just tells you if your protected or not....

So What Is the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool..?

January 2005 sees the debut of a FREE security tool from Microsoft. This new tool will be updated on a monthly basis to include information about recent malicious software threats...

Here is what Microsoft have to say in their own words:

Microsoft has released the Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool to help remove specific, prevalent malicious software from computers that are running Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Windows XP, or Microsoft Windows 2000. The Malicious Software Removal Tool supersedes all virus-cleaner tools that were previously released by Microsoft. You can download the Malicious Software Removal Tool from the Microsoft Download Center. You can also run an online version of the tool from the Malicious Software Removal Tool Web site on Microsoft.com.

To run the Malicious Software Removal Tool from either location, you must log on to your computer with an account that is a member of the Administrators group. If you are running Windows XP, you can also run the Malicious Software Removal Tool from the Windows Update Web site or by using Automatic Updates.

...In practice, on the first Tuesday in every month, if you have Automatic Updates switched ON. The new tool will download and run a scan on your computer to see if there is any malicious software running...

The software does not install itself, and runs in "quiet mode" so that you will not actually see it running! When it has finished its scan - the software then removes itself. guys,, there's a problem,, 1 of my programs now do not work... "Freestyle" it's an online game... is it because of the validatin? because this program works before i make the WGA..
i tried to install the game again,, i even removed programs that i downloaded from windows update.. it's still not working.. what happen?? i can't lose this game,, please help..

my reg file that you double clicked and entered... could not have done this.. let me explain

I only change the way that microsoft see your version of windows.. I edit a few things but nothing that will affect your ability to play games.. maybe you should look into somthing you downloaded from a website and clear off cookies and system and internet cache.

and reboot and try again

thats what I did and how I did it, so nothing I did in my hotfix will or can affect online gameplay.

help....when this thread started, I was able to successfuly patched my Xp with the method from this thread....was able to pass my XP as "genuine" copy and was able to successfully update my IE and WMP and got some security updates. That was a couple of months ago.

Until recently (last week).....when I tried again to search for new updates, then tried to download those new updates, my XP this time didnt pass the "Genuine" validity check. This time I got a message sdaying my copy of XP is not genuine!

Any ideas what to do now?
