Hi every1, i purchased a BlueSoleil Class 1 Bluetooth dongle recently, as my connectivity cable wasn't working that well. Plugged in the dongle, installed the software and then found out that the nokia connectivity suite does not support it.

I tried using the included software and was able to transfer files from the mobile (N70) to my computer, but was unable to transfer from my computer to my mobile (which is why i bought it :???: )

Just wondering if anyone has been able to successfully connect their nokia mobile to their machine using either the Blue Soleil software or nokia pc suite.

thanks.

i do. actually bluesoleil is the best bluetooth software i've ever used.
try the following steps it might help you solve your problem.

1. uninstall any bluetooth software or driver
2. go to device manager and uninstall the bluetooth driver there.
3. do to ports on device manager and uninstall bluetooth COM Ports.
4. restart...
5 try installing bluesoleit.

hope this will help you...

I've uninstalled and re-installed several times, even making sure that there was no reference to the dongle in device manager as u have just told me to do.

I've been able to successfully install the dongle and the bluesoleil software, and receive files from my phone, just that i am unable to send files to it (n70)

any hints as to how to do this? thnx

For bluetooth dongle, better use MSI one. I used it for more than 3 yrs no problem.

what do i remove? the blue soleil software? because i have been unable to get the dongle to work without it. I even went as afar as modifying the MS bluetooth stack (bthub.inf) to install the MS drivers for the dongle but still no help. Without this software the dongle does not work. And i am still unable to send data to my mobile.

If anyone has had success in sending a song or image or anything to their mobile using bluesoleil, i wouldn't mind instructions on how you did this. Thanks guys.

go to control panel -> system -> divece manager click tab hadware
go to divece manager try to uninstall all Universal Serial Bus Controlers. don't worry if u using winXP it's will auto detect again when u connect ur usb hardware like bluethoot, infrared etc. just preapare all ur driver hardwares.
Ps:dont forget to uninstall ur bluesoil proggram from ur pc before u go to
divece manager n uninstall it.

Connect ur BT divece on ur pc, install the driver n install ur BT softwares. done now u can pairing ur pc with other divece to send n receive data.

coz, actualy Winxp SP2 it still can use with bluesoil software. but i recomended if u using 3rd party program like Cell Phone Manager. u must remove or uninstal ur WinXp SP2. i hope it slove ur problem

my friend,
1- remove the software
2- unplug the bluetooth device
3- Restart the computer
4- install the software
5- shutdown the system
6- plug the bluetooth
and give it a try,
wish that will solve your problem

Hey guys, i thank you all for your help. I have followed all the instructions you have told me yet no dice. It just wasn't able to connect with nokia pc-suite nor send data to my n70.

I no longer wish to use this bluetooth device...too much trouble.

Hey guys, how to transfer games to W800 via Bluesoleil? It always failed, But Widcomm can do it successfully. Is there any special configuration, patch, crack, or plugin? Which is better, Bluesoleil or Widcomm?

I think , I can help u . I am also using a BT device BlueSoleil and N72 . See all u have to do is switch on the BT on your comp and mobile . Now open the BT screen on comp . Double click on the orange ball on the screen . wait for sometime .. The comp will detect ur mobile . Double click on the mobile icon on your comp . U will see that few icons on the top start glowing . Now click on "Bluetooth file transfer" icon on your comp . Then u are ready to send any data or files . Just u have to drag and drop on the new screen which opens when u click on "Bluetooth file transfer" icon . I hope this will help U .
