would like to check with you guys. is it possible to remove windows messenger? coz i has recently been signing up itself, blocking my msn messenger to sign up..

i cant find the 'how to' thread, use to c it last time..

hi there, there is a registry setting which prevents windows messenger from ever running, this can be done here [Only registered and activated users can see links]

following those instructions prevents it from running but will not remove it, to do this go to your add/remove programs and then windows components and untick windows messenger. This won't effect msn or windows live messenger.
