After reading the smart movie re use trial topic i thought maybe that same trick would work on profimail too. So i clean installed Profimail 2.52, not before making a mental note of the files in c/ system/ data/ upon installation i gained this trackftp.idx file. Forget this file it doesn't seem to have any effect, i deleted it and when i ran Profi it came right back. Upon the first start of the app i found this 10f381a3_cld_dump.rst 12 byte file (seems familiar) and copied it to mmc, i used the app for a few hours so i got some novicable decrease in the trial bar, then deleted the file from c/ system/ data and pasted the one from my mmc in its place. I now have a full trial bar again i assume i can repeat this process as long as i need to keep using the app. I'm using n80 btw. . . ok so i searched for an existing thread but only found one thats locked, if this has been posted before then delete it thanks :win:

I've 2.56 and can't find the 10f381a3_cld_dump.rst or any rst file..Only the trackftp..
If you update to 2.56 do you have the same file??

chances are it'll be named something else, but as with the Smart Movie trick its always a 12 byte file, if you have more than one 12 byte file then the best way to know if its the correct one would be to copy one somewhere else and delete the original. Now run Profi. If it doesn't run and gives some error then you have the right file. Good luck. I'll stick to 2.52 and not take the risk.:rock:
