Easy 5 step installation

1. Install Picodrive v093 on your phone on drive C or D , your choice .

2. Configure keys by selecting "Configure keys" from "Emu" menu. A black screen will appear and you will see a menu on the right , just scroll to see all controls , and configure them by tapping on the screen.

NOTE: You can also use the phones buttons like : Browser button, Camera button, Jogdial etc

3.Copy the roms anywhere on you mem card

4.Select "Load new ROM" from "Emu" menu, then browse for your file, select it and then click OK and the ROM will start.

5.To exit a ROM just configure the "Pause Emu" button, and click it any time during game play

The only problem with pico drive is that when playing in flip closed mode , if you push two buttons at once it you don't get the right response. For example when playing MK or any similar ones, when trying to jump and then push forward you it doesn't jump forward , the second comand is unrecognised.

If you use the phones "special" button (browser, camera etc) you can do 2 actions at once. Any other ideas on solv this problem (other emulator etc) ???

You can find Pico Drive for UIQ3 on the forum.. use search than you can use roms that are on this page :)

will this work on a W950i...? if not, is there any way of setting it up or the games up to work...? really wanna get Cannon Fodder and Desert/Jungle/Urban Strike...! absolute classics...!

As i already said you can find Pico Drive for UIQ3 on the forum then you can use roms from this topic. You can set up controls on Pico Drive anyway you want so it will work on w950.

hey do picodrive only play .bin and .smd files/? i have tons of .sms files, is there a way to convert them over? ima change the extension and see if it works.

so i changed the extensions and none of them work. so i tried to play mortal kombat and with the keys i configured. it sucked ass. do u know of the best key config to play some of these games. i did the onscreen config by the way.

hi there, i have a W950i which is an UIQ 3.0, i downloaded the file and put it in my memory card and try to install it but it doesn't work, it shows up an error message saying something old version, i used the newest version in the rar archive though.

I also can't install it on my P1i. The installation was aborted right after it finishes transferring the files to the phone using the installer. Maybe someone can help?

i've tried this a while ago and replied saying that it doesn't work on W950i even tho it's UIQ3, well i found a working version and tested, i tried to upload here but it doesn't work, well it did but when i clicked ok it just keeps loading forever and lags my browser hardout (i'm using Firefox) so i dunno wtf is wrong with it but i tried it 3 times and it's pissing me off, so i'll just post the site where u can download the UIQ3 version for W950I/M600i, i'm not advertising btw but someone can upload it cuz i give up. I have **** upload speed here anyway even tho the file is less than 1mb :(

nevermind i managed to find a working version for the w960. Cant post a link here but google PicoDrive_0964uiq3.zip and you should find it no problem.... if you are too lazy to start configuring the controls straight away, just make sure you configure the exit and the start button. Nice to see what the games look like before you work out how you're gonna play them :)

There seem to be lots of different file extensions - which can the emulator use - I only have the Sonic one with a .bin extension working at the moment! - Also looking for some good Pokemon games that work... :egdance:

copy all your roms to a folder in c:

Open command.com, go to this folder and type: Rename *.bin *.gen
then you can use all roms with picodrive.

OK fas0 - I'll give it a go...

I did have my P1i freeze up after letting my son play on Sonic for a while - I'm not sure whether its PicoDrive related or due to installing Walkman stuff on the phone :hehe:

Hey guys. I have all of these sega roms, but I am having trouble getting picodrive installed on my smartphone. I have the Nokia N97. I have had Picodrive on all of my previous Nokia phones, but when I try to install Picodrive on my N97 is says it is not supported. I greatly appreciate your help!!!! Thanks!!
