Hello to all of the forum users and special thanx to admin.for this wonderful amazing site.and buck up and cheers for mods and all contributers in this forum.

dear friends up recently i was using my computer nicely when this new trouble emerged viz i cannot play any system sound or midi files. i am using a creative sound blaster card(audigy 2zs b800).i have tried all the tricks i know ranging from checking from hardware manager sound and card controllers to updating drivers for sound card,reinstalling my soundcard,checking through dxdiag diagnostics,etc etc.but of no use!!i can however play other audio and video extension files.only trouble seems with .wav and .midi files.when windows starts or i shut down the system i cannot hear any sound neither can i play them for example sounds like chord,ding etc......i am at my wits end plz help..god bless

hi guys i have a problem i downloading files from rapidshare and megaupload... after 1 doenload it says i should wait for like 180 mins.. same with mega upload.... it sucks... but my friend doesnt have any problems like that... so whats the problem and is there solution.. pls someone could tell me... plss make sure it work 100%... coz i got somany fake applications that doesnt work.... help me guys

Does ur friend using premium account. if using free account, u must wait sometimes before can download again.

Try search at pc app link or how to section. u will find some trick for bypass waiting time.

try to uninstall your sound card driver from your system then restart. go to bios/cmos setup and check for your sound card... if you're using internal sound card driver (built in) then enable it. if there is an internal sound card then you installed sound card on PCI slot then u should disable internal sound card from the cmos.
clean your regeistry using tuneup utilities
restart and install the sound card driver then restart again...
this will solve your problem. please try to browse and see the function of your cmos before asking another question....

friends help me pls to removed the trial version to smartdraw

1.go to control panel then click add/remove programs
2.look for smartdraw then presss remove
3.after that, use tuneup utilities to clean your registry
4.to make sure smartdraw is removed from the registry use tuneup utilities again to view/edit registry and try to search the string "smartdraw"
5.results will come out then all u have to do is double click the found string then at the top right click the folder containing the registry of smartdraw and press delete...

if your friend is using premium account then his download will be continues. i use rapidget for me to download at rapidshare, sometimes it works but most of the time it does not work. search our forum and you'll find different kinds of rapidshare tools. you must go with trial and error dude so you'll have a knowledge on how does this tools works...

Guys i have a prob with Ms Word 2003 the prob is when i trying to exit ms word not close trying to totally close ms word it will give this **** error

"Microsoft Office has encountered a problem and need to close. we r sry for the inconvenience.

the information u r working for might be lost.Ms Word trying to recover it for u "

when i check the box say yes that i want to recover the file the ms word start again and when i will trying to exit this error again come remove and install many times didn't help and i also reomve temperory files but not help searching throught internet can't find sol so guys i need that program so plz help me

Net Nanny is one of the lesser-used blocking programs; very few Peacefire members have indicated that it is being used at

their school, and a survey of 24 libraries using blocking software did not include any that were using Net Nanny. However, in

1997, a student at Central Texas Community College reported that the software was being used on campus computer terminals.

Then, in February 1998, Friends University installed Net Nanny on their campus computer system. In the latter case, staff at

Friends University reported that the software blocked information on sexually transmitted diseases, the politics of

prostitution, and even a site about Adam and Eve.

Net Nanny was one of the four blocking software programs criticized in the 1996 article "Keys to the Kingdom", which listed

some of the sites blocked by Net Nanny, CYBERsitter and Cyber Patrol. Although the authors wrote that the list of blocked

sites used by each program was encrypted and could not be read by the user, Net Nanny comes with an unencrypted list of about

3,500 blocked sites -- making it the only program so far that allows the administrator to see the list. It also blocks much

less than any of the competing programs (which usually come with "blocked site lists" of about 100,000 Web sites). Net Nanny

has claimed that they give more control to the administrator (i.e. parent, teacher or librarian) by not encrypting their

list; however, Peacefire members whose schools are using the software have reported that the default sites selected by Net

Nanny are blocked in the overwhelming majority of cases. Because filtering software companies usually encrypt their blocked

site lists to protect them from being used by competitors, Net Nanny has less motivation to encrypt their list, since it

represents an investment of much less time and money.

Although the blocked site list is short, Net Nanny employes a more severe word filtering mechanism than most other programs.

It is often reported that blocking software will block an entire page based on the occurrence of a single word. This is not

usually true; Cyber Patrol and SurfWatch will block pages only if a banned word appears in the URL, and CYBERsitter will

simply remove the word from the page. Net Nanny, however, blocks all pages by default that contain the words "sex", "drugs"

or "pornography", and can even be configured to hang up the modem or lock up the computer if a banned word appears on the

screen. This was the default configuration reported to be in use at the Central Texas Community College. For example, the Net

Nanny FAQ (which has since been removed from the Web) states:

"So if your kids do a lot of e-mailing or go into chat rooms within IRC you can still take action. Say your kid�s friend

e-mails him a pipe bomb recipe. If 'bomb' is in your dictionary Net Nanny goes to work."

Although Net Nanny blocks fewer Web sites than any competitors, it does block access to about the same number of newsgroups,

including:

* bit.listserv.aidsnews
* clari.tw.health.aids
* misc.health.aids
* sci.med.aids
* alt.feminism
* soc.feminism

as well as the Banned Books page at Carnegie Mellon and Femina.com, which describes itself as a "comprehensive, searchable

directory of links to female friendly sites and information on the World Wide Web".

While the Banned Books page and Femina.com are blocked because the URL's exist as entries on Net Nanny's blocked site list,

more Web sites are blocked because they contain keywords which activate Net Nanny's word filter. TIME journalists reported in

an August 1997 article that Net Nanny blocked the National Organ

Search ANYDYD posted in this forum to convert DVD to AVI/MPEG/VCD Formats, and for selecting the prefered size(any portion) you can use VCD Cutter. Hope this helps!.

ijhtio : Plz Help The problem is the BlueSoleil Driver. when i try to install the blue tooth driver it will give "catastrophic Failure" Error.Don't know why this error came i try to search through the internet but cannot find any solution that can remove this **** error now buddy plz help me to remove this nasty error.:oops:

Bro first thx for the reply and sec that these driver is compitable with my blue tooth device and in the past months i used these driver and it can work well without a problem and dunno why now these driver give me error and i will do all the same step which u have told me now but cannot succeed only one trick is work that i will install the download and latest bluesoil driver 5.0 and it can work but problem is that its a Trial version only i will trasfer 5mb of data in to my phone after that my trial period is over Now i need a register version of Bluesoleil 5.0 Hope some one can give me the register version of bluesoleil 5.0 waiting for someone that can help me

i have just got a new pc and tried installing return to castle wolfenstein on it, however i tried playing it and it runs as something silly like 5fps so is completely unuseable. The computer i am using now is much better than the one i was using for playing it so its weird.

The game is compatible with the proccessor as far as i know as the game says it is compatible with pentium and amd athlon, and i have an amd athlon 64 x2 dual core proccesor 4200+.
i have already got all the video updates available, this is what made the game actually be able to boot up.

I have forgotton the password for logging to windows xp. So whenever I switchon the computer, it stops at log in screen and ask for password and do not proceed further.

Unfortunately there is only one user created and no Admin is created.
Anyone of you, will you please provide me how to access and operate the system and is there any software to hack the password.

There are certain files in the harddisk and I would like to access them and your suggestions are most valuable.

i don't think you are burning your CDs....wat i mean is, i think you are just creating a image or something....please check the app (watever you are using for burning) and the options that are ticked there...CD burners drives do not suddenly stop writing CDs as far as I know...check the very basic settings please...

well the only reason for this, I know, is cooling problem. Please check for CPU temp in bios...secondly a faulty connection (on the motherboard) can also cause this.

Sir, Try to check you PSU (power supply) sometimes it gets in low voltage, Check the IDE Cables, SATA, PSU Cable in your mother board and to hard disk. If you have 2 memory inserted to you motherboard try to remove 1 of your memory then test your pc. If theres a problem again try to remove the other 1. Or if you have 1 memory try to insert to other slot.

This is just simple. On the activate tab of kaspersky, delete all the keys. Disable your internet connection (lets say disable LAN card) then apply the license key. Restart your PC then enable your internet or your LAN card.

Surely it will work because I use that solution for installing KIS on 3 PC's even on the same network. Post your result here.

some files in windows are protected, some just have virus. use an antivirus and anti spyware and make sure ur computer is clean.
if it is, and u still cant delete folders, then it might be protected by windows.
only way i can think of is maybe there are hidden files and folders. try to find them
latest resort, format the drive

when it hapens to me, usualy after a reboot the folder is gone.
try what blue ray said, or else try put ur hard drive in another computer as a slave, and from the master hard drive OS, delete the folder.
may i ask why are u so bothered with this folder?

It played very well when I used Open Vcd in Cyberlink Power dvd. but I tried using open vcd in VCD cutter program and it appeared with a blank track (it won't played). And it's the same when I used windows media player (it won't run).

All I need is to take out one of the track..Cause I wnt to convert it into mp3 file.

ok open the cd using explorer, you will see a folder which says MPEGAV (i think, long time i dont mess with VCD), try open the track inside that folder with Windows Media Player. If it plays, its fine.
Copy the track to wherever. Let me know if this works

yes thats true, but isobuster doesnt have a protection cracker.
alcohol 120% has one. u can find out what protection the cd uses by downloading Clony XXL.
When it comes to complicated matters, people use Clony XXl with Alcoholer and Alcohol 120%. Works wonders

i just re-formatted my n70, the applications are stored in the MMC, but when i try to run some of the applications after the re-formatting (applications and games), they won't run. I tried looking at the apps' files but they are 100% installed in the MMC. I think it's with the java.But i am not sure.

Hi,i need some info.The other day i went to the function n recorded live wid my sony handy cam n i ended up 4 disc(dvd).Each dvd is of 1.1Gb so the issue here is i want to copy all of those 4 dvd into 1 DVD,how do i go abt it.

I have a cracked version of the brian lara cricket 2007.
But when i am trying to start a match in it, it just closed after loading.

I have 2.4 ghz processor 512 ram and 64 mb intel graphic card.
Can there an error of driver of graphic card or something else.

there may be 4 possible cause for your problem.
1. The game needs to be patched... solution : see cd for patch or check internetfor patch/update for the game
2. Check direct x version requirment.. solution: install latest direct x
3. Video card support solution: check the minimum requirements for the game if it needs higher support than your video card
4. Corrupt game files solution:reinstall

Hello guys I am new in this site and want some help from senior so -
1- I have a pc with windows xp sp2 installed i use wpakill.exe for stop activation windows. pc don't connected with internet. two days ago I connected this with internet then I have a problem before login I got an error message "You have 7 days left"
what I do to stop this problem I try wpakill.exe and windows activator software but all in vein.

try to find the virus removal tools from Symantec website and run the tools.

when u run the SAV, did you use the infected PC or clean PC? Try to re-scan the infected PC Hard Drives on clean PC by setting the HDD as slave or secondary. then try to fix the registry using regedit command and see if the registry that the virus modified has been fixed or erased.

you can search the technical registry edit on symantec website.

Just turn off system restore point. May be it help solve ur problem.

To turn off (for windows xp) system restore-
Go to control panel then 'system' then 'system restore' tab then check 'turn off system restore of all drives', confirm with yes.

Bro i thing that Your system is infected with virus.My suggestion is for You to scan Your Full System.when scanning is complete just again download the file and see now that the file are corrupted again Yes or no ?

Uninstall Microsoft office program & Re-install it. May solve this problem.
If this problem raise again could be missing files in your installer package.
Then u collect full software to get ride this problem.

I use Microsoft Office 2003, but it has been 2 weeks that the Microsoft Outlook begun to act strange. Every time I click send/receive button, the computer restarts itself. I tried to uninstall and re-install the Office with no luck.
What seems the problem?

either its a major virus or some file is so badly corrupted that it wont uninstall.
maybe delete office directory and registry files and install office

Need help with the following files from this download:

They come in parts .002, .003, etc. I have downloaded all 32 files but have no clue what format they are in in order to acquire the proper software to put it all together. The end result is supposed to be a 486 MB ISO. Yes I know all about ISO's and what to do from there. Winrar doesn't work for these .00x files.

Can anybody tell me what to use to extract the files? Can anybody confirm the total amount of files for this ISO, I have downloaded all 32 files listed. Help from someone who actually used this download and was able to generate the ISO would be really great. Thanks!

In this case you want to remove your office 2007. And find a download for office 2007 with the keygen. The keygen generally won't work with pre-installed 30 day junk.

My laptop ( ACER 5920G) is using window vista 32bit, and i find it running very slow with my 1Gb ram...instead of adding more RAM, So i decide to format into window xp... Somehow, my problem is, when i wanna format my laptop juz like i format my desktop, my laptop screen gave me a message telling me that i have to contact Microsoft people if i wanna downgrade my Vista... Can someone help me or teach me how to format my Vista? And if i change to Window Xp, will it affect my drivers such as my Bluetooth, WiFi module and others?? TQ so much for reading...
P/s: Dont buy ur pc or laptop if u only have less than 2Gb RAM.............

1st thing u download ur drivers from the internet, in google type your make and model it will direct you to the website to download the drivers.
then use win98 bootable cd to format or winxp installation cd to format ur pc.
Then u can proceed with ur XP installation.
If more help required then reply........ but 1st try to download ur drivers for xp:iphonepost:

Install the latest internet explorer. If ur windows does not start then try to repair ur operating system.
U have not provided proper information like....
What's ur operating system?
When the error occours, at time of booting or when u open explorer?

So u can update ur internet explorer. update it to ie 6 latest one, or ie 7.
Or try removing Internet explorer from add or remove windows component then reinstall.
If stll problem persists u repair ur xp with the installation cd by choosing "R" while in the process of installation.:iphonepost:

oh i need help .. I have downloaded the windows xp in 7 part ..i have check that all part size is same except the final part .. When i trying to extract them , winrar show me that the part3 is corrupted ..but when i trying extract again after 7 day,winrar say that part5 is corupted..how can do that & why?

buddy!U need to download those files again (Part 3,part 5). this is the solution of Your problem and bro i also don't know why those files are corrupted bcz i also facing these types of problem.i will download some files from anyother sites like first files i download and try to open with winrar(like test that this files is k winrar show me that the file is which i have downloaded is k) And when i download all the parts and try to extract them with winrar. Winrar give me the message that those files are corrupted which i try to extract :???:.may be any other guy explain this that why winrar show that these files are corrupted even first time it will open them ?
