View Full Version : Oakley's Worth the $$ xj911 19th September 2006, 19:25 Okay I've had 2 pairs of Oakley's that were $100+ Unfortunately I lost both of them...so I've been sticking to the cheap $10 sunglasses. Are oakley's worth all the money? 3Ball 19th September 2006, 19:56 Yes, yes and again, yes! I've worn Oakleys for the past 12-13 years and they're the only ones I'll buy. I've had 3 pairs of Jackets (I kept breaking the legs on them by kneeling on them if I had them in a bag - usually on rowing trips), a pair of Minutes (which I also managed to snap! - bearing in mind I'd had each pair for several years before breaking them...) and I've now, finally got around to buying a pair of Titanium, polarised Whiskers! Yaay! I'm quite lucky, as I'm friendly with several people that work in the shop where I got them, so I was able to get their staff discount, too! But I have yet to get one cos it costs about $350 (cheapest) for a pair.
