I wan't to say how to change icons of progs in menu
1) you need MBMTool & Many many beer :)
2) Connect your CellPhone to PC And go to
3) Go to Resource\apps and find yourprog.rsc
4)Open it in HEX Editor!

\resource\apps\SmartMovie.mif

Where 1st SmartMovie - Short Caption
2nd SmartMovie - Full Caption
3)Resource\apps\SmartMovie.mif - patch to icon
5)Change Resource\apps\SmartMovie.mif to Resource\apps\SmartMovie.mbm :) and save then upload SmartMovie.mbm to Resource\apps
Reboot phone and Enjoy!

P.S MBMFile is same in S60 and S60 3rd Edition
You can use this mbm (worldsport.co.ua/BlackBaller_aif.mbm) as example :)

nice guide mate but it need move to the right place. moved from symbian os9.1 apps.

Can you rename topic to Changing ICONS in S60 3RD Edition or Changing ICONS in Symbian 9.1?
To create MBM File we can use MBMTool open example mbm file and replace icons
In example mbm
000 = Icon in runing program (near caption)
001 = Mask of 000
002 = Icon in Menu
003 = Mask of 003
To create mask you can use Make Mask feature of MBMTool
