can anyone pls help me what to do on this problem? my firewall could not be turned on because firewall settings could not be displayed dueto certain problem. help anyone?

what brand is your firewall? as well as your os...and any specific error messages would be a big help :D

its from windows the one installed in it...it would just say that "firewall settings could not be displayed due to certain problem"

umm, i really would not bother with the windows one as it isn't a complete firewall, it only scans for outbound connections and doesn't protect you from anything else. I would suggest switching to a better firewall m8. Zonealarm and Sygate come to mind as quick and easy to use and FREE :) a search and you should be able to find them in here, the pc apps section.
