Could someone recomended the best Anti-Spyware Software that is very usefull...there are so much Anti-Spyware Software out there...which one is the best?

i recommend spyware doctor and mcafee antispyware. some spyware cannot be detected by spyware doctor but can be detected using mcafee and vice versa. i both use it on my computer.

I use Windows Defender and Avast on one PC, Windows Defender and Mcafee on another. Haven't had problems on either PC.

webroot's spy sweeper works pretty good.. have been trying different ones.. this is the best so far.

Every month or so I used run Ad-aware and then Spybot. Spybot sometimes used to catch things that ad-aware missed but like I said I haven't really had any problems since I installed the apps listed above. Neither program (as far as I know) has a monitoring feature in the free version so they're only helpful after the fact...

So, should i have both of the software mr. zeze?

i dont think mr.zeze mentioned of installing both, what he meant is that spybot does a good job better than ad-aware

I don't think it's necessarily better, it just tends to catch certain things that ad-ware might miss (at least back when I used them). The opposite is true also though - ad-aware caught things that spybot would miss...

Since both apps have free versions available, you should install both. In terms of usage I would run them each at least once a month and any time you think you might have a problem.

I would also install something with real time protection though, such as Windows Defender (free if you have a genuine OS).

If you don't have a good hardware firewall and other means of network protection - and the knowledge to set it all up properly and effectively, a little spyware protection can never hurt.

i used to visit warez sites but i have been visiting these sites for last 7 years, so i know which sites to go and where to click to download the warez, but no porns

yeah i understand zeze, y visit the site and screw our system, cant live without my system for a day, so anything which might create problem i dont need it

it a good practise to keep away bad things away from our system and u need cracks or serial no, ask in the forum, mods will help us to get one, let the pros handle the sites

I have Webroot Spysweeper and WindowWasher, Spybot S/D, Adaware, Advanced SpywareRemover, SuperCleaner, Tracks Eraser Pro, and Privacy Eraser Pro, and Mailwasher Pro aaaaaaaaand a couple of Registry Cleaners...phew!

How bout Ad-aware or SpyBot S&D? Or maybe Spyware Blaster which helps prevents spyware from even getting to your computer in the first place. These software will come in handy for you.

Well in my assessment, Spybot S&D v1.4 and Ad-Aware SE 1.06 is the best. They're like partners in busting out unwanted spyware and malware on our pc's. They have different cores so there are certain spywares that is unique only to both softwares. I also use Norton Antivirus 2006 for it also have the capability to detect certain malware and spyware programs (and of course those freakin viruses). Lastly I have Spyware Blaster v3.5.1 to protect my pc automatically teaming up with Spybot's Immunization core.

Just try to combine different anti-spyware softwares to protect your pc. There's no harm in doing it unless you don't know what you are doing. :butthead:

No, it won´t be problems with 2 or even more antispywares... Sure, some small conflicts are possible but nothing serious...

Webroot Spy Sweeper is good but it take more ram and slow down ur pc my suggestion is to use NOD32 antivirus(which i think is good if u not like this antivirus then AVG antivirus u take it)+Spyware Doctor(it also slow ur pc but not slow as much webroot spy sweeper do)+LavaSoft Ad-aware SE Personal i will use three software which make my pc free from Spyware Adware and virus and if u want boost ur comp speed Registry Mechanic or Tune UP Utillites is there for u hope this information help to u to decide which anti spyware is useful for u

kaspersky is the best anti spyware..

Currently, I'm using spywareDoctor, SpywareBalster, Spybot & ZoneAlarm pro(come with AntiSpyware). So far so good.

I'm using NOD32 for my anti virus and Ad-Aware SE Pro for anti spy ware, never have a prob. anymore, simply the best.

Currently using Nod32 and Zonealram internet suite. So far so good.
It is a matter of personal peferance, just look for the one the suites your needs.

Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum. And from what i've read so far, one of the very few users of Zone Alarm. I have the internet security suite which has all in one i.e. Anti Virus, Anti Spyware, Firewall, OS Firewall, Identity protection and IM security. I think it's one of the very few softwares that covers it all and does a fine job at it too.

ARE WE EVER SAFE?

I have the most up to date version of AVG internet security with firewall installed (All you will ever need to defend your system!!!!) and update daily, also have latest Trojan detection software installed. Alongside this i also run spybot search and destroy every couple of days.

A few days ago i ran 'Full, Deep scan' test using AVG and then same using my 'bang up to date' trojan prog, No issues found!!!

Then ran Spybot and to my amazement it found 3 Ghostloggers in a sync tool prog in program files folder. I then took all the required actions, ran all 3 of my viruscheck progs again and recieved a clean bill of health.

Ater hearing this tale 30 minutes later, my brother sent me a virus prog he rates highly, called 'Spyware Nuker XT'. I installed this and decided to run it before updating it (prog gate: May 06). To my astonishment it found 5 ghostloggers (2 in same prog as earlier find) AND 4 Trojans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I had already suspected something was wrong due to the fact my Automatic Update appeared to have stopped working approx 1 week ago. After allowing Nuker to clean up, Automatic Update has suddenly returned (with 7 days of updates requiring download).

I am fairly certain that if you run Nuker it 'WILL' find something that your present spyware detection has missed. Try it and see.

I like ad-aware, noadware v4, ccleaner, xoftspy-se.

I use AVG anti virus with fire wall,I have Ghostsufr platimium 2006 with spycatcher.My additional spyware is BulletProofSoft(bps adware & spyware remover).That's all I need to protect myself and my goldmine folders. All these can be downloadable at enfull.com and 9down.com

I would recommend Nod32 for antivirus, Spybot w/ Tea Timer for antispyware, and Zonealarm for firewall when it comes to safety.

I havent encountered any problems using these softwares for the past 8months now. Tried NAV for almost 8 years now, and its getting sluggish every version. Mcaffee is sleek, but isnt that good at screening virus, i know. AVG isnt that comprehensive either. All three doesnt have "true heuristic" engine, w/c is sad, coz its suppose to be part of the package that is being paid for.

These spywares are commercially available and record each and every keystroke typed, what sites you go to , record your password and email the entire details anonymously.
