Manage your busy life with Papyrus and your mobile phone. Papyrus is a robust time management solution for Symbian series 60 devices. Papyrus offers many smart views and powerful tools to manage and keep track of your schedule. This is how your Symbian 60 is supposed to act!

Papyrus can be synchronized with your desktop Outlook using the Nokia PC suite, including an item's note/description fields (For Symbian 7 or higher) that are missing when using the default calendar application

Screenshots from my N80. Includes reg key.

Is any way how to integrate Papyrus into default Calendar (how to display Papyrus instead of default Calendar in standby mode in phone)?

Just configure one of Active Standby icons to Papyrus.

Tools->Settings->Phone->Standby mode->Active standby apps.

Just configure one of Active Standby icons to Papyrus.

Tools->Settings->Phone->Standby mode->Active standby apps.

yes, I know this way but I'm looking for something else...
In standby are shown the actual events from def. calendar. And my question is: how to supplant calendar events by papyrus events..

I don't think that is what wakan meant, he meant the screensaver-calendar that you can have when the sreensaver is activated...maybe I misunderstood? Replacing the icon is really easy anyway...

Actually most of the events inserted to Papyrus will show up on Active Standby.
Just try and see. :)

The final version is not out yet... This is beta version and not stable yet... That´s why some people have problems with Papyrus... Papyrus is under testing for a long time... This is the first time beta version is "out" and the first screenshots I saw... I must admit it looks great.

Hi guys

Isn'tb there a better icon, I want to put it on my Active Desktop but with this weird icon, I just cant!

according to papyrus website, they release new betas every week.
god knows how old version this is.

lol, i suggest you keep your eyes off from such trivial things as icon. this is merely proof that the application exists and works. I'm convinced and cant wait for the final release.

btw, is this possible? I think people already asked it but didnt found an answer:

I tried to install version 1.02 (posted here) on N73. The message (after the usual security warnings) is: "application not compatible with phone. Continue anyway?". Did someone said "Yes"? What next?

Try making a new anniversary, when I choose 01.11.2006 and the alarm for 10:00 on 31.10.2006 it makes the anniversary on 31.10.2006 in the calendar. I know it's a beta but come on, how big of a bug is that ;)

Also when I install this app to my memory card it acts weird, doesn't want to exit and also doesn't register. It seems that it works more or less correctly only when installed on the phones memory.

I think i find a bug on my N73 after installing Paypyrus 1.2. When i want to change a date in Papyrus it hangs on the clock an i must exit the Programm.
The same in Nokia Dates, when i want to vhane a date it hangs on alarm clock.
Has any one the same problem ?

Sorry for my english, i now it is not good :)

i installed the latest post above in my N80, took so long toinsatll and asked to register again successfully with the original serial. This one is a dissaster....folks pls don't install it. The first one was more stable and reliable than this new post. First, it won't exit, i had to 'kill' it; second, it won't take anniversary correctly, and third, it hangs on my phone....had to reset; fourth, after killing it, it says trial again and asks to register....who wants to register this disease of a thing?... In fact, i'm unsinstalling it as I write now.

Just installed 1.2 on my N73 (v2.0628.0.0.1) and not noticing those problems. Icon has changed from the beta version.

The only problem i get is once you open Papyrus you cannot exit the program unless you modify or insert a date. Even tried to exit when holding menu key then scrolling to Papyrus and hitting the C button but still did not exit. Any one notice this or any other problems.....

That's true, but I couldn't register with the attached serial...did u have the beta installed prior to installing this version...or did u uninstall it before ? Did you re-register with this serial ?
Because it keeps telling me that the serial is invalid...

new release, 1.2.01

[Only registered and activated users can see links]

What's new in Papyrus version 1.2.01?

* Fixed a bug that would give an "Unable to Execute File" error when modifying a "MyText" item.
* Fixed "incompatibility" message upon installation.
* Fixed "No Subject" bug for saving new appointments.
* Papyrus can now be installed on the memory card.
* It is now possible to exit the "Categories" screen when installing Papyrus on the memory card.
* Alarms can now be saved for appointments.
* It is not possible to use Filters (no more "Security" error).
* When creating a new item in the List view, the default date for the start/end time is now the selected day and not "Today" like before.

having tested it so far, i don't see any valuable difference it has over the inbuilt calendar facility in my N80. Just grapgical and interface make-up as the important functions are not working as yet.....maybe someone found something great in it i didn't see????

Everybody is entitled to their opinion. For me, this is way more complete as a PIM than the built-in calendar and much more user-friendly than AquaCalendar. I use ContactizerPro on my Powerbook to manage my work and personal info., I export the tasks/events to an iCal file and then am able to sync with my E61 perfectly. The developer seems very responsive as this software progresses on s60 v3 so I'm purchasing a license soon. Great app. for me.

This is my first upload so please bear with me.
I came across the across the latest beta version 1.2.02. Forgive me, but I downloaded just the sis file from their website an hour ago and wasn't able to upload here. But I did copy the link location. I have a N80, the installation was smooth, didn't have to re-install, just installed over previous version. Now I'm able to synch my outlook calender with papyrus successfully.

* Updated Spanish localization (thanks goes to FZ6)
* Updated Italian localization (thanks goes to fourwheeler)
