I hope someone can help me in this. I have Smartmovie installed in my Nokia 6630 and I can watch MTV and short movie clips about 9mb but when I want to watch a full length movie about 153mb( 16 blocks), it caused an error "File too big, can't fit on screen".. (I have no problem with memory) Did I do anything wrong while downloading? Thank you in advance. Your help is very much appreciated.

m8 i for one have no idea especially if it's the movie posted by wingtip
do you have problems with all big films or only this one , if you didn't try just load another movie and post the results ..... hope it will work out ...

HI Japo,
I tried to watch another movie Basic Instinct 2 ( 138 mb) and the same error occured.File too big, can fit on screen. I don't think there's anything wrong with the movie as I can watch all of them on my PC. I think it has to do with my handphone or maybe my memory card? Or the smartmovie that I downloaded is not compatible?

don't know m8 , anyway moving thread to Symbian (S60/80/90) Apps from Symbian,Palm,Pocket pc & Mobile Video , because i think it's more a problem with smartmovie , maybe somebody there can help .... cheers

The problem is, that the resolution is too big. Not the file size.
convert it to smaller resolution!

install tis apps, then jz convert ur movie to small resolution.

not sure thats the problem , the movies were allredy converted with smartmovie , but try anyway ...who knows
to convert just use smartmovie converter
here is the how to for "Smooth Smartmovie Settings ":

Hi,
Problem solved. I use smartmovie to convert it into half it's resolution. Picture looks great..Sound is great too but there are black areas at the top and bottom of the screen, something like a movie shown on theater..anyway, thanks for the help.

select crop mode to FULL .. it will solve ur this problem
