How can I send the jar files or other aplications from my N73 to other phones? When I try to send it over bluetooth the "Unable to send protected object" message appears.

Install FExplorer on both phones. Rename the jar to another extention files b4 sending in the sending device. In the recipient handset after accepting transfer rename the renamed files back to jar extention. That's all

simple, use profiexplorer, it doesn't say protected or anything like this, just its problem is that it doesn't enter system files..

install profimail and use the file explorer that comes with it to send jar or sis files. Jar file in your inbox can only be moved by using tools like Y Browser, unfortunately you will have to search for it, try using a search software, its very very deeep inside

Just have to rename it using Fexplorer to any names and you can send any files to any bluetooth device.:)

There's a new app that can send protected files. LCG X-Plore. Made by the makers of ProfiMail. No need to rename, and no need to open ProfiMail then its file explorer. LCG X-Plore is available on the forum, search for it. It is by far the best file manager on s60v3 yet. Includes built-in image viewer, sound player, quickview, text viewer and editor, ZIP file support (No RAR file support) and more, though it can't read /sys folders.

No, its not! Its still being beta tested and only for a certain number of users.

You should be patient like the rest of us and wait. It should be out by next month or so. But it will not be able to access system/hidden folders like the earlier versions. Another drawback is that you have to personally symbian sign the app for your phone.
