Everything has been set up correctly... Except for the "start server" option in winamp. I have a problem wherein the computer states "error opening Bluetooth socket". Also after investigating what the problem is I have also found out that the "add bluetooth device wizard" is missing in my control panel... Pleassssssseeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! Can someone help me?!?! :cry:

Hi cyberlion what drivers are you using? Try downloading Widcomm drivers, I was having problems similar to this and all sorted when i installed widcomm drivers hope this helps

What bluetooth drivers are you using? If you're trying to use the default drivers that Microsoft ships with WinXP SP2, I don't think it would work. Alternatively, you should reinstall the drivers that came with your bluetooth dongle, and if you have WinXP SP2 you might need to do a little bit of tweaking to get the proper drivers up (WinXP SP2 ships with its own bluetooth drivers, and sometimes insists on installing those instead of the dongle drivers, because usually the dongle drivers are not digitally signed).

Thanks for your help but I have a really hard time downloading widcomm since I am only using a dial-up connection. It would take me 18 hours as the estimated time in windows downloader suggests... Are there any alternative applications that I can use with has low bytes in the file in order for me to download it??? And why does the bluetooth devices applet does not show up in my control panel???
