Hi there i have a 4 month old toshiba satellite M40-313 it has a 60 gig h/d and i gig of ddr ram and it burns dvd etc....but it is total crap..it will have to be sent away as the keyboard letters are coming off...the casing is sqeeky and the recovery disk supplied is just one disc and many pre installed programs are lost when you re format....the good thing is the 15" truebrite screen....and rememebr XP sp2 has its own bluetooth stack........total crap...so......this notebook/laptop is bad.......stay clear.......if you have problems with your toshiba like this..let me know.....cheers.

Well i had my laptop returned and one of the keyboard buttons "flipped" off so attemted to press the button back into place....no luck,,,so now back at the repair shop to be fixed once more.....so it has a 3 year full warranty so will kill the laptop and have it fixed each time just to annoy the repair shop as i can use my home/office computer but i just wished i did not buy the extra warranty.....wondering if dell are any good making laptops?????

exactly!!!!! i have a toshiba laptop too n its like a piece of crap! gosh, i tot it was smth to be proud of having a toshiba...anyway, my laptop crashes without the screen n keyboard functioning.. sent it for repair few times.. wad a hassle..
