Bentoy_00 24th October 2006, 15:40 try ogg player. it's the best for me i've been using it for several months and still i'm very satisfied. the size ogg is only 1 to 2Mb and the sound quality is great.
aa10 24th October 2006, 18:04 go for mp3 with the quality 128 or better.. then u'll have clear sound and great quality..
mantri 24th October 2006, 20:35 go for mp3 with the quality 128 or better.. then u'll have clear sound and great quality..
AGREE... but u must have a bigger MMC to have more song
paps 24th October 2006, 21:14 The best music code for ur phone is aacPlus. Then u have two options, ie aacPlus v1 (SBR) and aacPlus v2 (SBR+PS), both are working fine on n70. You get CD-quality stereo at 48 kbps. You may experiment to lower bitrate. In case aacPlus v2 will be more efficient.
Encoding tools: dBpowerAMP Music Converter (with m4a/Nero Digital Audio-AAC code), Easy CD-DA Extractor v10, Nero Wave Editor (load any audio file then SAVE AS with nero-digital), MediaCoder, etc.
Always use extension m4a or mp4 and apt player other wise hear like AM mono radio!!! :)

As u know to get high volume u have to either increase the gain of that file or out put gain of player.
Hence during encoding increase the gain level…
i.e. if ur using dBpowerAMP use apt Power Pack DSP...
In fact I don’t like that powermp3 due to its bad habits…
Oggplay can use phone’s build-in Plugins/Codes. Hence it can play any music type which ur phone supports (Use latest ver. Player). am using Oggplay and much more satisfied. Only I miss graphic EQ. :(
The default player is good one but it has no option to increase gain, again if you have hundreds of music files then u will be finish… (not actually… ;)) !!!!
Oggplay and default player can handle M3U playlist. When using large amount of music files, organize them with playlist n directories. Maintain a same directory structure of both PC HD and phone. Then use player like winamp to create playlist and transfer them all, the playlist should work… :)

Don't Create any folder just put your all song in : memory card\Sound Clips\digital sound :
gee 15th November 2006, 17:17 regret to inform that even with the newly created music folder under sound clips did not solve the problem.
my music player still able to recognise a portion of my mp3 songs collection.
i have since revert to folder sound clips\digital sound (although that also does not solve the issue.)
