Hi, thanks for the game, it rocks!! I managed to install via the speed.bat file on my harddisk.

However, I would like to know why does the game always exit after each challenge series race? It happens for some other modes but not the career mode. Is there any proper installation guide?

While the conflict between the Global Defense Initiative and the Brotherhood of Nod appears to have subsided substantially ever since, Tiberium infestation has begun to reach critical levels and continues to destroy the Earth's ecosystems at an alarming rate, prompting GDI to divide the world into three different geographical zones based on the levels of local infestation.[7] 30% of the world's surface has been designated as "red zones", which have suffered the worst contamination and can no longer support human - or otherwise carbon-based - life. 50% of the regions in the world have been designated as "yellow zones", which are dangerously contaminated yet contain most of the world's population. Decades of war and civil unrest have left these regions in a state of social collapse and have continued to provide the Brotherhood of Nod with opportunity for concealment as well as large-scale recruitment over the years. The remaining 20% of the Earth's surface is unscarred by Tiberium outbreak and is relatively untouched by war. These "blue zones" are considered the last refuge and hope of the human civilized world and have been placed under the direct protection of the Global Defense Initiative.

In March 2047 the Brotherhood of Nod suddenly fires a nuclear missile at GDI's orbiting command station Philadelphia, destroying the fulcrum of GDI's senior command structure in a single major blow. Since the end of the Second Tiberium War, Nod has silently built up its influence and its military potential into the status of a true superpower, and by providing medical aid, enforcement of stability and hate-mongering against GDI and the "blue zone" populations from within the "yellow zone" territories, Nod is now supported by a significant percentage of the world's population. Unprepared to handle the offensives led by Black Hand shock troops across the entire globe, the remainder of the Global Defense Initiative's top military and political officials on Earth take charge and begin rallying all of their standing forces, determined to achieve a new victory over Nod.

As the conflict ensues however, forces of alien origins, the Scrin, will suddenly enter the battle and alter the nature of the Third Tiberium War entirely. The precise connection between these alien creatures and the Tiberium substance, as well as the original conflict between the Global Defense Initiative and the Brotherhood of Nod, still remains to be unveiled.

The storylines of the factions are interwoven in the same fashion as Firestorm. In one faction's campaign, references are made to events and missions that occur in the campaigns of the other factions.

PROJECT IGI 2

Perhaps IGI 2's biggest problem is that instead of drawing you into a thrilling adventure, it makes you feel like you're just going through the motions in a generic shooter.
Sometimes a mediocre game can seem worse than an outright dud. When you're playing an obviously terrible game, you can usually put it safely aside and move on to something better. But mediocre games like Innerloop Studios' IGI 2: Covert Strike trick you into thinking that there might be something great just around the corner, only to repeatedly disappoint you. The previous game, Project IGI, was an above-average shooter when it was released in 2000, despite some serious shortcomings. But things have changed since then--more-sophisticated and more-stylish action games such as Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, No One Lives Forever 2, and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell have raised the bar for action games. Yet Innerloop has slid under it with IGI 2, which is a shooter that might have seemed exciting if it had been released in 2000, but is mostly forgettable now.


Who is this guy, anyway? Storytelling definitely isn't one of IGI 2's strengths. In IGI 2, you play as ex-SAS soldier David Jones, a covert operative now working for the fictional Institute for Geotactical Intelligence. You'd never know that at first if you didn't read the box and manual before playing, though. The game itself just throws you into the action without any decent setup or explanations. What exactly is IGI? Who is David Jones? Who knows? Who cares? The attempts at storytelling fall flat throughout the game. This might not have been the problem if IGI 2 were a straightforward action game, but, as your first mission briefing tells you when you start the game, "stealth will be vital." To be fair, IGI 2 at least gives you a visibility meter that gives you a good idea of how easily you can be seen without resorting to guesswork. You can toggle Jones' movement between running and walking, and you can also select from standing, crouching, and prone positions, all of which have an effect on how noticeable you are.

IGI 2 does have seem to have some basic mechanics to encourage interesting stealth-based gameplay, but in practice, the stealth elements are often tedious, frustrating, or implemented too obviously. All too often, you'll get the feeling that IGI 2's designers were following some sort some kind of action-game design handbook. You'll find levels where you'll obviously be required to sneak up behind a guard and incapacitate him, or levels in which you're clearly supposed to crouch behind a pile of crates to avoid being spotted by a security camera. In fact, IGI 2 may make you feel like you're jumping through hoops instead of pulling off dramatically daring feats, so you may be tempted to forget stealth and just start shooting things up.


Often, you can dispense with stealth and just start shooting things up. It's then that you'll learn that that IGI 2's disposable henchmen aren't exactly tactical geniuses. Sure, if you blow your cover and go in with guns blazing, they'll sound alarms and come pouring out of their barracks to hunt you down, and sometimes they'll even surprise you by using a flash-bang grenade to blind you before they attack. Many of them have incredibly good aim, but they're not especially vigilant otherwise, and when they first suspect your presence, they'll usually just run back and forth in predetermined areas for a while, as if a good jog might ward off any possible intruders. Apparently, the guards all skipped class while attending henchman school, since they'll gladly run one after another into your line of fire until the bodies are stacked to the ceiling. They'll also use such clever tactics such as yelling "Grenade!" to warn you before they throw one. In fact, they'll even start tossing grenades around wildly indoors--while you're still outside.

If you stand too long in view of a security camera, an alarm will likewise sound. Of course, you'll discover quickly that you can simply shoot out most cameras, and no one will be the wiser. Leaving bodies lying around (you can't drag them out of the way as in most games of this type) usually won't alert anyone either. About the only time you absolutely have to be stealthy in IGI 2 is in certain levels where massive hordes of guards can gang up on you from all directions.

use these magical artifacts to bring his beloved back to life, even if it means causing wanton destruction along the way. The game uses

cutscenes between missions to advance the plot, but the silly dialogue and convoluted scene direction make following the story more

difficult than it needs to be. The cutscenes include decent but unremarkable voice acting, much like the music and other sound in the

Each entry in Impressions’ city-building series has been an incremental upgrade to the previous one. The series improved dramatically with Pharaoh, the first game to leave the Roman confines of the Caesar games. The series improved even more significantly with Zeus, which added more-creative mission goals and downplayed the military element, which had previously been a problem with the series because of the cumbersome combat interface. Zeus had a few of its own problems, but it introduced so many great ideas and features to the series that it seemed like a promise of even greater things to come. Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom breaks this promise. Instead of improving on Zeus, Emperor plays it safe by returning to the earlier games in the series. Developed not by Impressions but by BreakAway Games (whose previous work includes the Cleopatra expansion for Pharaoh), Emperor is much like Pharaoh, with a few of Zeus’ additions thrown in for good measure. Though it includes some improvements of its own, it also brings back a few frustrating issues from earlier games. And some of these problems–such as the combat interface and the aimless wandering of your workers–aren’t as easily overlooked as they once were.

Rice is one of the new agricultural commodities. It’s not a major criticism to say that Emperor plays much like its predecessors. Impressions’ city-building games have always been formulaic, but it’s a solid and addictive formula. With the last three city-building games, most of the major changes have been cosmetic. The gods, buildings, and commodities available are specific to the setting, but the basic gameplay remains almost identical. You lay down residential areas, set up trade with other cities, provide food and commodities for your residents, and occasionally fight to defend your city or send your troops out to conquer another.

Emperor follows this formula to the letter, though instead of being in ancient Rome, Egypt, or Greece, you are now in ancient China. With Zeus, the setting lent itself to more-exciting mission goals: You would often need to attract mythological figures and send them out on quests, or build huge sanctuaries to the gods who would then bestow considerable bonuses to your city. The mission goals in Emperor return to the basic quantitative goals of Caesar III and Pharaoh. You’ll be required to produce a certain quantity of a commodity in a year, save up an amount of money, conquer a number of cities, or reach a target population. Occasionally you will be required to build a monument, but these monuments are goals in and of themselves and don’t bestow any benefit to your city apart from satisfying an objective.

Exhibition

This is a single match in which the options are customizable.

World Circuit

This is the main mode of the game. Users have to win matches and complete training exercises in order to progress and unlock new ones. The user enters with a rank of 300th, which improves as matches are won. These matches are unlocked by completing easier matches or training exercises.

Training

The focus of the training exercises are to be fun, rather than realistic. Each exercise has three levels, with the difficulty increasing progressively. By completing the hardest difficulty with a certain amount of time left or points scored, an outfit is unlocked, which players can wear in all modes.

"X-Blades" offers action-packed enjoyment in fantastic Hack-and-Slash style. Using various weapons, spells and tactics, the player must fight his way through many indoor and outdoor levels, killing hordes of monsters on the way. The story, exciting and rich in variety with numerous cutscenes not only motivates the player, it also cleverly interlinks the individual levels. Besides the ‘normal’ monsters, there are also "Monster Generators", which ceaselessly create new creatures (and of course powerful Boss opponents) for the game world. Hidden Power-ups and coins ensure that the player is rewarded for exploring a level. Some locations can only be reached by bold and daring leap/jump combinations.
The player will only achieve success in the game if he makes use of the extensive system for the further development of the heroine Ayumi - Experience Points earned, for example, must be converted to Skills. There are various Power-ups available to help the player as well, like combat techniques, magic, weapon enhancement and teleportation and the right mix will lead to success. Apart from that, the use of skills on the "good or bad side" also affects the finale. Depending on player actions, two different game endings await the heroine Ayumi - and that in itself is a hook for players.

Description: Thrust back in to the sacred kingdoms, Elven Legacy: Ranger sees our hero, Cornelius sent on a top secret mission by the Grand Master of the Order of Marcus to prepare their return to the continent from exile. Trusting only Cornelius, the most skilled of the rangers, he is tasked with finding the perfect site for their imminent landing.
With the shadows as his ally, and his blade as his deadly accomplice, Cornelius must use all his skills and elusiveness in order to stay one step ahead of his enemies, and in return strike fear into their hearts as he brings death to their doorstep!

THIS IS AN ADDON FOR ELVEN LEGACY, YOU MUST HAVE THE
ORIGINAL GAME TO PLAY!

The Order of Marcus, long dormant in its isolation, is
expanding. The renowned ranger Cornelius, armed with his
spear and trained in the arts of subterfuge, has been
tasked with preparing the world of Illis for the coming of
the order.

New Features Ranger Cornelius possesses a holy spear that
can apply special powers to his attacks. In Elven Legacy,
each unit's operation could only be performed once per turn
- one move and one attack. Ranger Cornelius can now use
special attributes of his sacred spear without losing his
turn. For example, he can activate a paralysing stroke and
then throw the spear at the enemy. The enemy unit will not
only suffer damage from the attack, but they will also be
unable to move during the enemyÆs turn.

Additional new features in Elven Legacy: Ranger:

* 16 new missions
* 3 new heroes
* 5 unique artifacts
* 12 new spells

Arctic Racer is an arcade stunt car racing game, quite unusual for its unique arctic scenery and very 3D racing style with high hills, long jumps etc.In the game the player drives an ultra-modern vehicle with additional rocket engine.
