I have USA/Canada for TT6 which is the map I'm using now. The size is roughly 900 meg.
North America is 1.2 gig.
I would think it would be the other way around. Why is just North America so much larger?
Thanks

Size of the map depends on the amount of information required not the physical area covered. The more roads and intersections the more information to plot where they are. Look at it this way. A paper map of Canada takes up more paper than a paper map of USA (assuming the same scale). BUT the map of the USA will use more ink because there are more road junctions etc.
That's my theory anyway.

So which one is more updated? I have the usa_canada map installed, but it not quite up to date.. And i live in southern california.. some freeway exits and roads have been changed 2 years ago.. And it not listed in the usa_canada map.. Would the North america maps more updated since its larger in size?

So how would i go about changing the map? Since it wont hold 2 maps in the 2 gigs card.. I have to remove the usa_canada map, and install the north america map. Do i need another activation code for the map?. If they are both the same .. When i reinstall the Usa_canada map, do i need to reactivate the map again?
