The smartphone version was already posted (search the forums). This is the pocket pc version. Arcade racing title. Haven't played it extensively but one thing I can say for certain is it's got SUPERB gfx (and I mean str8 butta). Gameplay wasn't that bad either from my short playtest.

EDIT: Okay, played it a little more. This game is tight. Baron, you listening ;) ? TIP: The only way of playing this in landscape mode I've found is to switch WM5 or WM2003SE to landscape mode before firing up the game.

looks like the one posted is for smartphones. still playable though... anyone with ppc version?

I believe this is the PPC version homes. My boy installed it on his Dell Axim X50v and he says it's running great with no pixel doubling (my understanding- and I may be wrong- is that if you run any smartphone software on a pocket pc one of two things happens: 1. App will run in a window (ie: black borders). 2. Pixel-doubling: the PPC doubles the number of pixels to compensate, giving a slightly washed-out appearance). The only thing is the menus appear to be lo-res, but this has no impact on the gameplay or in-game gfx.

Either way, the app runs perfectly with probably the best racing gfx I've seen yet on a pocket pc of any kind (and I'm sure anyone else here will back that up).

To everyone else, what you see in the screenshots is EXACTLY what you get.

In vga screen it looks awful but it is ok.

No prob... it's a CAB file, so if you're running WM5 just copy it to your device and run it from your device. If you're running WM2003, install cabinstall (search the forums) on your device and use it to extract/install the file.

What's good Hardc0re... to run it landscape I've found that you have to switch to landscape mode before running the program. My man said it ran fine on his axim so I guess I'll have to pick up a VGA device to see for myself ;). Still, any other versions of the game will soon be uploaded, either by myself or anyone of the many good posters on this forum. If I do upload anyother versions I'd likely append them to this existing post.

it plays fine on my imate jam..just one question..how do i quit????i had to soft reset my phone..no other option..screen taps not working

Urmm... in the main menu screen just select "QUIT" to exit :rolleyes:. From the main menu you could also just keep hitting the cancel button to cancel out the program.

I figure the prog uses two main buttons for navigation, an action [forward/accept] button and a cancel [backward] button. You just have to figure out which is which on your device. On my Eten, it's the camera and record buttons.

No need to be so formal dawg... WM5 has a built in cab-installer so all you should need to do is copy the file to any directory on your device and then tap/click on the .cab file to install it. You'll then get the option to install to main memory or storage card- the rest is self explanatory.

If for some reason you find it's not installing and you're sure you are running WM5 then the download might be corrupt- try downloadinig the file again.

If a fresh download still isn't installed by your copy of WM5 then you might have some corrupted registry entries... in that event try installing CABINSTALL (search forums).

Incidentally, what device are you using?

Note that cabinstall on WM5 will only view the files. As I said earlier WM5 has it's own built in cab-installer so if it's not installing try re-downloading the file in case it was a corrupted d'ld. If it still isn't working, try another cab file (there are many on this site. If those don't work either, you may have corrupted registry entries.

Kind of works on the HTC Touch Dual (WM6) For anyone else out there it would appear that the accelerate key is the camera button and the Brake Key is The Camera Button.
