And also, I used to make a SVG image and paste it into the area ( list highlight for example ) and then convert it into 9 piece element. It used to convert the 9 pieces into SVG pieces and now it converts them into BMP file types.

U must make the piece one by one. if u directly convert to 9 piece. u just get bmp files. not svg.

I formatted my PC due to it crashing on me recently but I was making a theme and almost finished it. I copied the entire folder from the workspace directory and now I want to continue where I left off.

I tried the import function but the problem I have is that NONE of the third party icons re-appear.

Is there any way to solve the problem or do I have to re-enter them all again ?

Hard format: Press *+3+Green Phone on the bottom at the same time, while you press the phone on. Then, when the Nokia text appears, you can free your fingers.

Nokia 7373 is restarting itself, sometimes it shows white screen and I can't use it properly. I tried to reset it back to factory settings but it doesn't work. What to do, should I try to update the software with Nokia PC Suite or do something else?

Themes on my phone get deleted automatically

I have tried deleting the installation file a00000eb.sis and related registry files in sys install & Unisntall folders in both C: and Memorycard

& at many occasions themes get corrupted , i have tested the problem it is not memory card related issue,checked various memory cards

this never used to happen once i used to follow this procedure on my n73 or N95,or N95 8GB

Can any one suggest any help,or method

because if i dont remove the said files whenever i restart my phone ,i get the message installing .... and then not complete please install rest from App Manager

I'm having a problem with my hacked 6120c. Whenever I install a theme and activate it, It activate but when it asks me to activate sounds and i click yes it gives the the following messages "request not completed" Anyone has solution to this????????????

Bro The theme you are saying is not completely compiled , it should have the ringtones file in it , which is missing and the question is programmed , so once you try to apply sound settings this answer would come. There is no hazard and problem ,

you can enjoy the theme , i cannot say that if you would install again, the problem will be solved . Only can be done by the person who compiled that theme

kingwicked glad ur a pakistani too. By the way the theme are of star wars and asphalt 4 ngage. And i dont think that nokia make uncompiled themes. Also this problem started a few days ago. Back then the same themes were working and applying sound also. but now they only apply screensavers and wallpapers. although the sound is extracted to the memcard it isnt "applied"

As for your problem I also bought a 2gb memory card from Karachi and since then i am having problems. My whole memory card got deleted automatically (only the installations not the setups, pics, vids) when I shutdown the phone for 3 days. Maybe the fake cards dont work.

:D Thanks for the reply bro but i have a geniune 8GB Card BY Sandisk Speed 2. It was bought from england not pakistan from a genuine source the same has no problem on n958GB. :wave:

This damn Theme problem only happens on N82 somehow either there is something programmed like expiry dates because it happens only if i dont remove the uninstall a00000eb ctl extension files in sys/unistall and install folders

@darkshadow16, i really dont like this of questions and the answer is NOT, its impossible, and its not good to rip other theme makers icons pack and use it as ur own, you have to draw it yourself, as for the rest there free to use icon pack by Travis, Acid Sonic, Jendell, Flahorn, and maybe others too, and u can purchase it as well,but i really dont like the idea that someone would rip my icons and use them with they names cause it quite a work to do that takes some weeks or even more, so if you feel what i mean just forget about this and use the free ones or purchase, thanks

Thanks again mad. I was full of hope, but unfortunately ind190 themes also do not fully work on E71, same problem as the rest with wrong icon for email. Please see attached for a visual of the problem area I highlighted in red box.

Maybe it's a bug in carbide ui and thek has solved the problem because he has a E71 to test the themes to find out which icon must be changed to show the correct.
For most of the newest nokia mobiles (5th edition and so on) it's a 'must have' the phone to test the themes because carbide shows not all parts and sometimes also not right. One of the reasons for me not create themes for 5th or E series, because i haven't the mobiles.

But you can ask thek which icon must be changed and share then the information here. :D

Dear Friend...

At First download the theme you want with moncc icons for Fp2 not the default icons version..

Second go to menu and deactivate icon animations..

And then try it i think it works so...

There are three ways you can.

1st. Hack your phoen : You can install many theme and application that " Certificate Errer or Expired "

2nd. Sign theme.

3rd. Change date to previous time about 6 months or 1 year.

I am trying to create a new theme by myself lol.., a big task I know.., but still trying...

I need to ask two questions..

1. What resolution should be a pic to set as a background, if I am taking it as a 240x320, it's perfect on normal mode, but if I change the resolution to 320x240 (landscape) .. quality goes down as well as pic doesn't setup properly..

2. I saw many clock elements shared, how to use them.. I tried few but only face is there, no hour hand and etc..., any suggestions on that too.

First question solution:
If you dont want this happen i suggest you to make and .svg background
You know there is a lot of vector images you can find on the net, they are always .ai or .eps you need adobe illustrator or inkscape to modify them and then save those to .svg of course in a new document with the proper resolution of the phone.
And yes if you are using n95 the resolution is correct 240x320

2nd question:
Those clocks shared as you mentioned them , are always first face the hands you can use carbide defaults ones or design them by yourself on a vector design program (illustrator,inkscape). And yes normally those analog clock don't show a number next to the lines of hours is just to make them look beautiful.

I am able to find some clock elemants shared with complete set, however not able to understand your first reply, if I would have make the svg backgrounds, I would have done that at first bro,.. I liked the icon set that's why I was asking., anyways I came through that also., but the strange thing is once I open the extended icon set of 7 tehk, only few icons are there and other 3party icons are not visible though they are there in the tdf file, so it's kinda strange.. :confused:

Anyone knows how to Edit or Remove the "Application Open State Indication" symbol that shows on folders and application icons that are opened ? I find it extremly anoying and would like to see it removed or shrinked.

In carbide, i can change the symbol, but after i install the theme, its still exactly the same as before, no changes seem to be made, I use carbide 3.4 with n97 plugin

You are welcome.You can export your theme project file in carbide by going to file - export and select the theme and option zip, tpf, folder and click ok.I haven't use png till today.but this is the way to export.
or in simple way just go to your carbide workspace and open the theme folder.you may find tdf files among all icons
