Any1 have a solution to this problem ?
WhenMouse click on desktop icon , but selects almost everything ,
when in Microsoft words , selects all the words when click .
And keyboard , when typing Lower Case (without capslock) will appear in uppercase (capital letter) , and then lower case again ...
So it will appears like this
ThE LIttLe BroWn FoX JuMps OvER THE FENce .
And the number lock appears like this when wanna type numbers .
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
Totally fustrating ...
I've tried antivirus and scandisk .
nothing helps , and nothings wrong with the keyboards or mouse .
any1 have a solution for me ?
BTw ,its for my gfs Laptop .

reinstall the OS... and not the patched one downlad it in the PC apps section..

OS reinstalled ...
problem persist even during installation ...
HD was formated as well ...

does this happened in all applications like MS word?
if so maybe its your hard ware or mother board problem..

yup , eveything including MS DOS and stuffs .
Any ideal how do i go solving this ??

u mean even is dos prompt? i tought it might be u enter the function mode. Please confirm it was the same in dos prompt. Besides, check if u press "j" it become "1"??
Also please try pressing each button and check for functionality of each button. possible yr "shift" button has "short"...

J still becomes J or j , with or without caplock . very random .
I pluged in a keyboard and mouse , same problem .
And i activated the sticky key (sound) function . it keeps Beeping ,
note that it will only beep if a crlt or Alt key is being pressed .

I've tried pluging in a USB keyboard and mouse , unistalled the touchpad and the keyboard in the labtop , the comp begain to work normally , thats until the laptop reconize the Laptops keyboard again ... then things begin to work funny again .

Well , its fixed and not fixed as a matter of fact ,
the moment the comp reconize the laptop original keyboard , it starts giving me problems again ... I tried deleting its driver , which is inside system32 , but it just appears again when i restarted ... But now at least the keyboard is typing fine .

comp is working fine now ,
removed the connector thats connecting the internal keyboard from the labtop and using a USB 1 now ,
Labtop is working great now .
