Here's quick MIDP implementation of MSN/Live chat client. It has some "advanced" features like fullscreen rendering and nice qwerty support. Client works without any proxy by connecting directly to MSN servers.
Minimum requirements are; MIDP2/CLDC1.1 compliant device. Currently I've only tested it on Nokia E70.

Usage: At options screen enter your username/passwd and select input type. When qwerty is selected - then typed text is shown below chat screen and on non-qwerty mode a sepate "dialog" is displayed to input the text. At only your online contacts are shown. Joystick right/fire starts chat session with buddy. At joystick left sets view back to buddy view. Depending on selected "qwerty mode" any other keypress is added into outgoing message. If qwerty mode is selected then press of enter key sends the message, on non-qwerty mode selecting "send" command button will send message.
This software uses jMSN library (did the MIDP porting job) and some UI components based on Jimm ICQ (both GPL). So big thanks to authors of these!
