Yup,should be cracked. :idea: Screens are not from Symbian version, thats why they look different. :)

Maybe that's true, but the installer is a lot more user friendly. You don't need a card reader/writer, just copy the folders with PC Suite and then install the sis file. So simple.

The software is working perfectly with my E70. For k.aalai yes you need a gps receiver.

I can't download part 4 and 5 for North America map.

I installed it in my N80 and seems to work ok.BUT most of the streets are "unamed road" - i am using map for Athens-Greece - so no posibilty to plan a route.Also some times drives me crazy 'cause the instructions change frome meters to yards.Anyone has any idea how to edit the maps,amd name the streets, or convert the map of route66 to tomtom???

After much searching, this seemed to be the easiest method.

I copied the raster, tomtom and voices folder to the Others folder within my 2gb memory card. Copied GB maps there too.
Copied the installer file to the same place.

Ran the installer.

Seemed to take a wee while to install but eventually got the Installation Complete message.

Open TomTom from within My Own folder (N80).

Splash screen loads with the spinning globe.

But there it sits. Doesn't seem to want to go any further.

Any ideas?

Ok, since last night I've had a tinker about.

After putting all the files onto my card, I run the installer.

If I install to the memory card, tomtom won't get past the loading screen.

If I install to my phone, tomtom loads up and I get as far as setting the preferences but then it says 'no maps found'

Does tomtom and the maps have to be on the phone, as I don't have enough memory for the maps?

What folder do the maps go in? I tried initially just cutting and pasting the map Great-Britain-Map onto the memory card, then I created a new folder 'maps' and stuck it in there. Both without any luck.

Please help me. Much appreciated.

Ha ha, I got it working!

I found maps 'GB_plus_major_roads_of_WE' just whacked it on memory card.

Along side 'raster', 'tomtom', 'voices' and the installer.

Installed to phone.

Job done.

Just need a GPS receiver now.

Tried my N80 out with my mates GPS today and TomTom works fine.

Just gotta remember to configure the GPS device within the Preferences and pair up via bluetooth.

Uninstall what you have done so far and remove all the folders and files.

Copy all the files that I showed you in the pic on the previous page.

Paste them to your memory card folder, 'others'

Run the installer, install to your phone.

When I first tried it, I too was getting the endless spinning globe. I think that was because I was installing to memory card.

I've just uninstalled and reinstalled mine. Defo install it to the phone leaving the other folders on your memory card.

If all this fails, you could try wiping your memory card (after backing everything up) and copying everything direct to the root of the memory card (by root I mean there are no folders set up on the card) then trying it again.

It should work mate.

If not I'd try downloading the files again.

One other thing, where are you from? Which maps are you using?

I had one version of the GB maps which make the globe just spin and spin. When I tried a different download of GB maps ie 'GB_plus_major_roads_of_WE' it worked straight away. I'd try another source for your maps.

works on my Nokia N80, although if you try and change options during navigation it tends to freeze, other then that works fine. Restarting usually fixes the problem.

You are the best. I had a previous version for my N70 but have just got the N93 and it didn't work. Tried yours with no problems. Just a little advice for those who like me had a bit of trouble unpacking the 'mmc' files - once you've unpacked the first batch and got the 'cracked' files, you need to unpack all the other files into one folder so they can open together.:lol:

Using 5500 soprt just some visual problems in menu's with icons that are too big and ovelays each other.. any clue on how to resolve it? I tried open tt_icons.mif but no luck.. I cant get icons out from .mif

@NARRONE: no.. this version is only for Symbian 3rd (6600 is 2nd - last good TomTom for 2nd is 5.202 with 6.05 maps). Maps must be put in root of Yr memory card (that's e:\) inside a directory which has the same name as the .mid and .pna file you have .. Eg. if U have Italia_map.pna, you should put every map file in e:\Italia_map\

Works perfectly with my E70, but doesn't support opening the keypad, so typing addresses is a bit cumbersome. No problem with backlight staying on or voice glitches that others have reported.

Wishes: Would be perfect if supported topo maps, track recording / playback without setting navigation routes, breadcrumb feature (for 4-wheel drive and hiking). Maybe satellite overlays will help this a little, haven't tried them yet.

But for automotive point-to-point navigation, it works really well. Still wish I knew why I didn't have to 'activate' map - although I'm not complaining - the ones I've downloaded from the 'maps' thread (complete North America, Western USA) work perfectly just by loading, without any kind on activation.

Do You have all five parts of .rar. ? If U don't that's why error message is about.

i have got all five parts but when i try to extract further past mmc rar i get this message you need to have the following to continue extraction C:\Documents and Settings\NICKY\Local Settings\Temp\Rar$DI21.172\BiN-2516.r00

If I undertsand U well U have already extracted one archive? Is that archive that U getting message for [.r00]. If it is maybe you should try as I to unpack all together. I simply select all 5 archives in TC (Total Commander) and just do Alt+F9 to unpack it to other window. That pass with no mistakes.

The rar unpacking tool I had been using would not extract to the folders named 'raster', 'voices', etc. I had to download and use the free demo 'WinRar' program to get things working on my E70.

You might try re-downloading the original 5 rars in case something got corrupted...

Every time I run the program on my N80, I must accept disclaimer condition. The option to disable it next time doesn't work !!! may you help me pleese ?

I had that problem epl2005. Try uninstalling the whole thing and reinstalling. Didn't have the problem next time around.

This version DOES work with N80, togheter with Italian map 6.50!

Just follow the instructions given in the forum carefully.

It's also worth to update the phone firmware to 4.0623.0.xx

You absolutely need a bluetooth GPS module, if you want to use it as supposed to. Of course, if it is enough for you just to cruise in the map manually, then you do not need one :lol: .

More than happy to get it going at all.

If you get the blue agree screen (the one after the first green agree screen) you can select 'show this next next time yes/no'. Selecting no doesn't always mean it won't be there as I found.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and said no, then it did not come back.

The green agree screen sadly, I think for legal reasons, is there every time.

I switch on tomtom, agree, and while i'm switching on my gps, I then go back to my now ready tomtom.

No you shouldn't have to.

In preferences, set your home point.

Then, after agreeing on the green screen at startup, it should take you straight to your home point (or your exact position, home or otherwise, if you have your GPS connected).

Even with Home set and gps on, I still have to select a map from the list.

Canary Islands or Great Britain and WE after oking the agreement page.

Again, not a major problem but it would be nice to fix it.

As far as I know, it is build 7640. At least the version I have in my N80 says so.

I have 6.01 (build 7640) cracked by binpda. Is this the newest cracked version? Does anybody have the newer version?

This version from BinPDA is the final BETA (build 7640). As far as I know the real retail isn't cracked (build 7720). Too bad, because TT 5.2 worked beter on my old nokia 6630 then this version on my N80.

Working perfect on N80.Much better then 5 .

Put the folder of the map you have alongside all the other folders.

Search back a few pages and you will see my post. Either replace the GB_plus.... folder with your new map folder. Or just add it alongside.

Then within tomtom, select change map.

There are several sites offering you TomTom POI's (Points of Interest), use google. Use (for example) search word's "Speed Cameras POIs in Europe tomtom" and you'll find what you need.

Search in e-bay for a BT GPS Receiver (around 70 €) specially with SIRF III chipset is the fastest, you receive GPS signal in 3-4 second (not first time).

all maps are good also for you (it depend from your memory card capacity) and look for also the activation keygen for map.

Cheers, sorted it downloaded it (thanks meedo) and took it for a spin today still using my old TT5 map at the mo, but have the most up to date gatso database, which is the important thing:)

first of all, this is a absolutely fantastic forum. I have got a N93 since 6 weeks and i' am mostly happy with it. :supz: I have just installed TomTom version 6.01 and it is running fine. The only problem, it is not running in landscape mode. I have tried to search the forum, but no luck.

Does anybody got a solution?

You wrong to made a folder called maps, you don't need it, your map have a folder, if put it directly with others folder on root of MMC, TT app will find it.

My problem is, that I make everything what stay in NFO file, but something is wrong but TomTom not working. Installation go perfect, but when I start TomTom, I become first screen and thats its all. After 5 min or 10 min nothing happends.
GPS modul is from Nokia (LD-3W).

HELLO.....i know this app works on the N80 as it was working until i updated my n80 vai the nokia website and i reformated my card etc so the phone was "clean" but now when i install it all goes fine until i try to open tomtom and i get "9000" error so what have i done wrong? i unrare'd the files to root of card and installed the tomtom with installer and i always get "9000 system error ""...any help appreciated...

This is because you're using the cracked version without an activated map. I had the same thing but when I installed this version of TT:

and activated the map with the keygen I have no more problems with this dialog appearing. You have to uninstall this one first ;)

Can someone please walk me thru step by step on how to get this installed on my Sprint PPC-6700 and what files to use to extract etc. because I have winrar 3.62 and its not extracting!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!

Just a follow up regarding installation of TT6 onto a N73. I followed all the installation instructions that came with the original .RAR files. Whenever I ran TT6 I experienced the "no MAPS found" error. I see this error throughout this thread and note the general instruction is copy the maps to the root directory...this did not work for me. I uninstalled ...reinstalled tried a heap of things..same error. The solution for me was to create a new folder called MAPS & dump all the maps into this folder.....& it worked. This approach was posted previously in this thread.. I recommend others try this approach as it solved my problem...may not solve yours ...but worth a try.

kiwwi, maybe your bluetooth connection disconnects? Try to update your firmware version to the latest available.

You will need to update the firmware on the N73. The bluetooth bug is a known issue and has been fixed. It now works perfectly!

You can update the firmware by loooking in the support section of the nokia site.

Hi I got TomTom from another pirated software forum for mobiles, and instead of just installing a cracked .sis file, you install as normal and then use a keygen to generate the activation code for the maps you want to use.

This all works fine for me, but was wondering if there was any difference between the one I'm using and the version of TomTom posted here? I don't see any mention of activating the maps in this thread. Does this version bypass this step?

pinksteady, in this version you don't have to activate maps. This is the only diferrence.

put the rar files in a new folder right click on them and choose extract here

Tried my N80 out with my mates GPS today and TomTom works fine.

Just gotta remember to configure the GPS device within the Preferences and pair up via bluetooth.

No you don't need a GPS receiver (and to set up one) to browse the maps and plan an itinerary.
Just go to the menu "Browse map" for browsing
and "advance planning" for planning ;)

ok...i think i'm next to solve the problem...
i discovered that the folders “tom tom”, “raster” and “voice” have to be in the roots directory to make the application start.

NO don't create a folder called Maps!!!
Put the "It_plus_major_roads_of_we" folder in the ROOT of the card.

Using this version you shouldn't need to activate the map using the Keygen. (I'm using a different one that needs activation, but after that works perfectly ;))

My TT6, that is the binpda one, is workin very well only with Guam map, which build is 650 1050...
it still cannot find italy maps i downloaded somewhere here in the forum that is 1219...

my TT6 binpda is browsing map now!!! it works with 1223 maps not with 1219 maps (that should be the new ones...) i have n73...my fw is the 30.10.06 one, i think it's the last one...
anyone with N73 is using 1219 maps? what does it change between 1223 and 1219 maps?

v1219 and 1223 is same maps but 1223 is compatible also whit tomtom 5 for symbian 2° edition and UIQ 2° edition

Apparently there is a difference: the version also for TT5 doesn't contain the data (advance classification of road, individual speed, etc.) that allows for a better route calculation.

So if you have TT6 better stick to the specific version(s).

Just wanted to say:

N73 is now officially supported by TomTom 6 (appears in the device list on their website)

put the map files in a folder caled austria_map on your mmc make sure its not in a folder in the folder then tomtom will find the map

Anyway the most recent maps that include Austria are (all 6.60 version):

- Western Europe
- Alps
- Map of Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DE, A, CH)

It will show many contacts messed up with name and surname, and the best thing is that u can't search for a particular name cause only 1 letter on each button of your phone will work. For example if u press button 2 for 3 times, it will write Aaa with major lag problem...

not a big problem the one-letter-only selection (once you know it!), but the messing up and the lag are :?

Plus often the address is not understood and you have to type it again :(

Need some help here mate's..

I have downloaded all rar files, and installed everything like suscribed.

When i try to open TT it asks me the language, i choose mine and confirm. After that it guides you true some kind of configuration like MIJL of Kilometer per our, and the time configuration, then i can choose a male or female for the voices. So far no problem..

But after i confirmed a voice it says No Maps Found (and here comes my problem..) When i click on select to select one TT shut's down and i'm back in my Applications Menu :S

P.S: Its about a Nokia N73 S60v3 Symbian OS9.1

And i install the TomTom.Mobile.v6.01.S60v3.SymbianOS9.1.Cracked-BiNPDA.sis file on my Mini-SD memorycard, could this maybe be the problem? Offcourse the maps are all on the Mini-SD memorycard like discribed..

cakirgozlu, I installed TT to the phone memory, and the map is copyed to 'tomtom' dir in the MMC. This way everything works fine.
I had the same problem as you described when the map was in the root of the MMC.

Need some help here mate's..

I have downloaded all rar files, and installed everything like suscribed.

When i try to open TT it asks me the language, i choose mine and confirm. After that it guides you true some kind of configuration like MIJL of Kilometer per our, and the time configuration, then i can choose a male or female for the voices. So far no problem..

But after i confirmed a voice it says No Maps Found (and here comes my problem..) When i click on select to select one TT shut's down and i'm back in my Applications Menu :S

Could someone please help me out with this?

Please make sure that the program is properly installed (on MC) following the instructions on the first post of this thread.

Then place the map on the root of the MC. It means like this (i.e.)
E:\Western_Europe\ (if the map is western Europe ;)

Try to install the Guam map (and put it in E:\Guam\) and see if it works

With MC you mean Memory Card i presume?

I have installed the program on the Mini-SD memory (MC) I installed everything like the instructions says on the first post of this topic.

Sorry for my bad English, i'm from the Netherlands so i am not fimiliar with short words like i.e :oops: Could you also explain me what a Guam map is? :oops:

to the root of my Mini-SD memorycard, after that i found the Benelux Map, copied this entire map also to the root of my memorycard, and installed the application (TomTom.Mobile.v6.01.S60v3.SymbianOS9.1.Cracked-BiNPDA.sis)

Can you make it to torrent? I can't get it.

Since last week, TT6 on my N80 would shut down just a few seconds after I start the application. I had firmware version 4.0623.0.41.
So I thought why not upgrade my N80 to firmware version 4.0623.0.42 through the Nokia website. Firmware upgrade finished sccesfully but when I tried to install TT6 it say something like: 'failed to install'
So I downgraded the firmware again according to this manual: http://www.seventy4.co.uk/weblog/2006/08/21/how-to-update-your-n80-to-v40623041/.
Some links are down, but Google will help you out.
After the downgrade I installed TT6 again and it's still running fine uptill now. :supz:

Hi there, after reading all Post (I hope so) I have still a problem to get it work o my Nokia E61:

The app starts and I can make the selections for language, Voices ... But when I want to set my homeaddress, the App stops working and quits without prompting anything.

So, I am not stupid and stepped over. But the same Problem, when choosing the destination.

Any hint???

i keep get te folliwing error with winrar. The crack unzip's succelfully, ecxept for de mmc.rar file. This error

Honestly now, please if anyone know where I can get maps for South Africa, please let me know. There are maps for Route 66, but apparantly Tom Tom is much better.
