pragmatic 25th October 2006, 05:17 is there any Pinoy Globe user here who sucessfully configured (meaning working) their Nokia's email client using Gmail or yahoo mail as their email accounts? Mine's N70 and I can't use the email client even if i installed profimail it's no use. I'm just frustrated that i can't fully utilize the potential of my N70. thanks!!!

Cigla tel. 25th October 2006, 17:14 @pragmatic, you can setup Gmail account on the default e-mail client on your N70 and it works just fine.;)
Cigla tel. 25th October 2006, 17:32 There is the Gmail setting for the default e-mail client on my Nokia 6670(Symbian OS ver.7.0):
Edit: erased by me!
pragmatic 26th October 2006, 05:04 ok, i've got the set-up and all. the question now is, what access point to use? using the set-up wizard, it will assign MyGlobe Internet. But it's not working for me. XPWURLD, what access point did you use?

Use your default GPRS access point in gods name!

Not working for me either. Please remember that the thread starter is asking help in setting up for Globe Telecom (Philippines) not some other mobile carrier. I'm having setting up G-Mail too in my N3230 so I just use Lonely Cat Games' ProfiMail client...

Somebody's barking at the wrong forum!!! Do you even know what we are talking about here??? The default access point is not working that's why I'm asking XPWULRD what access point did he used. Do you know anything about Globe Telecom and it's multitude of access points? If not then I think you know what to do...
@limextreme
Did it worked pare? what access point did you used? I also have Profimail, maybe I should give it a try on Profimail.
Thanks pare. nakakaasar kasi yung mga sumasagot na hindi naman alam yung pinag-uusapan eh.kaka-badtrip...wala naman naitutulong.

You fuc*** ungrateful idiot!:evil:
I give you answer on you'r posted question:
"is there any Pinoy Globe user here who sucessfully configured (meaning working) their Nokia's email client using Gmail or yahoo mail as their email accounts?"
explained in pictures step by step, and you are not satisfied?!?
If you don't know how to setup your "Pinoy Globe" GPRS access point, -> ask you'r Globe Telecom operator to do in you'r name and not be such a pain in the **, here.:roll:
Topic name is not for GPRS account setup, but for G-mail connection over Nokia default e-mail account if you don't know how to read you'r own post!!!???
Next time be precise in your question(topic name) and you'v get the better answer. But not from my side - newer!
