Smart Settings is designed to protect your phone and make its appearance unique. It combines the possibility to lock the keyboard, prevent from using the phone's 10 digits Master Code in case of lost, customize lock messages and access easily the most common applications (by exactly 2 keystrokes).

Main features description:

* Start Menu: It provides a way to customize your phone so that it looks in your own unique way. You can use these set of features for quick access of the your favourite applications. For them you can chose speed keys (1-9). After, these applications will be accessible by the Left Selection Key + Their Speed Key.

* Easy Unlock: It allows you to choose the most convenient unlock combination for yourself and to decide whether to disable the default 'Unlock' + *. If you choose to disable it, only the new combination and those who know it will be able to unlock the keyboard. Here you can also create your own message which will be displayed when the keyboard is locked but someone tries to use it. Another feature allows you to set a day period during which the phone will light the display after any key activity. Thus, unlocking keypad in the night will be as easy as in the day.

* Auto Lock Options: You can set a keypad auto lock period which prevents the phone from accidental calls. It is possible to choose the applications which deactivate the auto lock. If such application is open, the keyboard won't be locked.

* Security: Smart Settings allows you to change the max length of the Phone Lock Code. Normally it should be 5 digits long. But now you will be able to create more secure, up to 9 digits codes. For some S60 phones, there is a special 10 digits Master Security Code. It can be found in the Web and it unlocks the Phone even without the user defined Lock Code. With Smart Settings you can prevent using this code - codes longer than 9 digits won't be accepted by the phone.

Thank you so much for this update. I've been using 1.01 version and it doesn't support my language, but now it does. Now it contains icons of the programs in the start menu and a few more options. Thanks

can anyone highlight the changes from the previous version as v1.11 also had program icons...so whats new in v1.14?

P.S I checked the mobifunsoft website...and they dont have anything listed =/

I have many problems in my N70..I install both files,but after reboot I don't find the Left Selection Key changed.
I go to smart settings options to enable time for blocking keys and icons..but after I have never seen the right icon on Left Selection Key.It is always new message..the function I chose for it.
Now I read this software is compatible with N70..why does it not work in mine?

i have the same problem as previous one, crashes with my symantec AV. please help me. Only 1.10version was bug fixed, can i have the latest version with the bug fixed.

just get rid of symantec AV, u can get so much better AV's than symantec.

I have the same problem like you.. It looks like "Smart Settings" doesn't work at all on my N70...
but how come i got replies saying that it works on N70 in my other thread!!

oh oh, my version stopped working this morning, 3 days after I installed it - same problems as the early cracked releases of if I click on the Start Menu it just loads SmartSettings - it seems BinPDA didnt crack properly - waiting for BWOPDA version, its the one that always works :D
use this version here & push the time forward as many days as u want and it will be working properly :)

aahh... nice! however, I checked the fep file and main app file and they are identical to the BiNPDA version (same CRC signature) - how does your version defeat the trial? just wondering.

Although both this version and the Illusion cracked one works on my N70, I get "Already in Use!" error when the phone starts up and initially loads Smart Settings. If I remove smart settings I don't get this msg, hence I relate it to something about smart settings. The older 1.12 and earlier didn't do this. Any ideas what's causing this? I've tried removing and reinstalling, making sure any old files were removed first. And for the record, this version still makes smartsettings.txt on c:\
