It's a MODDED version of the original and should work under the terms of the original, i.e. it is a FREE DOWNLOAD

this mini version sucks. I can only it's developer web address. If you open other web address like google/yahoo NOT WORKING and will bring u back to developer address !!!!

Can i install both the opera browsers on my N72...... ?? opera browser v8.65 and opera mini v1.24. Will they both work together or will create problem? As i already have opera browser v8.65. So wanna ask u guys......can i install this opera mini as well??

Yes no problems :)

For casual browsing Opera mini is far better (and faster).. when you have to do more serius stuff, like typing replies, filling forms, accessing secures servers, etc., Opera 8.65 is best.

ok gr8. I have tried this app but after installing when i click on the opera mini icon to open it ....... it doesnt open at all in my N72 ..... but other java apps opens in it. I think may be this version is not compatible with my phone.

hy gents,

this browser is the fastest thingy i ever had on my N70 and i love the landscape mode. make sure to uncheck *load images* and see the speed, hehe

It works great on my Nokia 6670.
But some tools [like SAVE (page), TRANFER....] can't be used.
Error message:

An error
occurredjava.
lang.Error:
FileSystem failure

Any advice??
Finally, does this Opera Mini support on XDA II Mini like the originla copy?

i had downloaded n installed 14 days trial version from opera site. then i installed crached version doanloaded from iphone. now it says trial period over. what should i do? pl help me... thanks.

uninstall the whole thing and install *opera 1.24 modded*. this version will not expire and has the landscape mode. or take another version like 1.22 hi-fi.

Guys i dont understand why r we using this 1.24 version when there is already a updated v2.0 available which has both options to download - Hi-Fi and Lo-Fi.
Someone plz explain....??

all official Opera Mini browser from opera does not allow multiple windows and rotation the screen.

on my N70 works quite good. Only savings and downloadings are not supported... maybe in another phones

Guys, I have 6680, and this opera is not working at all. When I type a web address it simply does not do anything, does not connect to the net at all Did anyone have the same problem?

On the other side, the normal opra 8.65 works normal. No other mini version on my phone. Should it be installed on memory card or it does not metter?

Please, can you help me on this issue?

hy acapav1,

when you install any version of opera mini, the first thing is: let this browser check your network connection. normally opera mini will do this after installing and you open it the first time. so choose the right connection for it, otherwise it wont do anything like you said. i got the right settings from opera mini official site. they sent it to me via sms.

sorry bro, i never used a lo-fi version, so i dont know the differences. so try yourself and keep us informed, thx for that

delete the whole app, than install new and let opera check your network conn.

PS: the main reason why i am using 1.24 modded is tha advantage of the landscape mode. i dont d/l anything via fone, i have a pc for it, hehe

Ok I will do that, but the point is that opera mini, when it does the check, it does not ask me even to choose connection.

you cannot select the network setting in opera mini?
thats weird, never heard that before, so sorry couldnt say more to this case.

wait, check the settings in opera, maybe there is a point to select it.
try the network settings in opera mini app, there is the apn

Opera Mini Modded 1.24

New version (1.24) of this popular modded version that allows you to rotate the screen (and other things...)

:) Nice browsing in landscape mode :)

It should work on all Java MIDI 2.0 phones.

Hint: if you have the official Opera Mini installed, remove it first and then install this.
i've installed cracked version on my 6680, do i need to re install it first before install this new version? i mean, the cracked version is official? thanks!

which cracked version do you have on the fone? opera or opera mini?
the normal opera is a sis.app the mini version is a jar.app. you can have both on your fone without any problems.
but if your version is a mini, then uninstall it first, just to be sure.
