I copied the whole ROUTE66 folder at e:\system\apps , but i tried to execute and I get : "Resources files are missing". What am I doing wrong?

Yeah, you're right I was carelesss and I copied in wrong folder the map..
Now the app. starts, but it stops in 1 sec. : "App. Closed Mobile7"

There have been reports in other forums that it works. But it is still not a straightfoward thing.

yep, tried it on my n80. it's a bit faster than tomtom.

It didnt work on my N71.. After installing mobile7 and copying system...\route66 folder, when i try to run mobile7 it displays the first screen which requires activatin and after 2 secs the application is closing, with usual error message

You need R66 for China which can be downloaded here http://bbs.100gps.com/forum-44-1.html.

I have installed r66 on my n71 with athens map and its working.I tested it many times but it seems that it is a little bit slow.For example the refresh rate has 5 sec delay.another example is that the voice command is anounced when i am already at the turn or i have already turned. I am using it with QSTARZ BT-Q810.Do i have a problem or is this normal

ok i give up, i normally can find the answer if i hunt long enough but not in this case.
i downloaded all three parts of the program, and used the latest winrar to unzip it, but it does not combine, i then unrared each of the three in to its own folder, and checked the contents and inside each was exactly the same files, so i decided to use only one of the three, and installed it but on running then i get the lack of resources problem, and it does not run, i do have the uk map as posted in the map folder, i tried just the map file, that did nothing, then i tried the map folder(with contents) and again nothing.

what am i missing, are they supposed to be three parts to be combined or what, if so how

I could see that you said it works with E50, I have E51. I'm struggling for more than 1 week to make my phone work with any of the program. I finaly made it installing without having to sign the route66, copied the Europe.prm map in the directory map, still get the message - Resource missing - please reinstall application error message. I'm really disparate, as I've made it installing the Garmin 4.1.80 but still i'm not able to Unlock the European map. I feel like going crazy and still not make those softwares to work. I have an external GPS which works really fine.
Would you please help me, please do - like step by step and what exactly to do from scratch - or what you've done. I would really appreciate that.
