Yes...if it finds a virus it will clear it well. If no prompt, it means there's no virus in you phone yet! good luck and have fun....running fine in my N80....

Yeah, but brontok virus can harm ur phone n mmc as it interferes the folders, making it doubled so ur phone may slow down. Can this antivir detect brontok virus in phone memory?

and there is no updates when i give my imei and email address on the officia site

Obviously no one should wait till u hv viruses in your phone?! Preventive measures are always best, so be ready if & when viruses appear to do damage. I'm sure there'll be more options available soon eg Symantec etc ..

Hi guys ... i need ur help here . recently my phone nokia n93 is infected with virus CardTrap(B) when i scanned it using this software. and after i scanned it ... it removed the virus but after i reopen and scan it again.. i still can see that virus again.. i don't know why ? can u tell me how to get rid of that virus? i have used Jiangmin Antivirus to scan it but it doesn't show any virus infected... only when i used ExovirusStop then it shows... so hope u guys can give suggestions regarding to this issue. on the other hand , if i can't get rid of that virus .... does it make any harm to my phone ? ur help will be greatly appreciated.

This app is NOT a cracked version. It's a retail one bought and paid for. Just sharing it with friends here who care. So the app should work. I'd contact the developer on this cleaning problems and revert!:iphonepost:

Is a virus scanner so needed for the s60 9.1 . It supports only signed applications to run on it. Given that , even if you had a virus program , how can it get into the system unless it is manually signed by our or the virus developer pays symbian to get in self signed.

Ok the next question is , so far no application has been able to read the protected folders of the phone unless we do some attribute change or something like that. So how can it be that virus scanners can remove files from there.

Can somebody enlighten me on this so that i can get a better idea about virus scanners 4 s60v3.

You know something guys, i kind of suspected as much...

I was very suspicious of this app... and was thinking that maybe installing the app itself, that then installs the virus on your phones.

...thats why i never installed it on my phone!

i doubt there are any viruses yet for os9.1. due to the signing of the file. some one could create a virus and send it to people, but in order to install it they have to sign it. unless they can get an all phone license by sending their sis to get it approved. if it is a virus.. it wont be approved. please correct me if i am wrong.

After I set the date back to 28-10-2006 on my E65 I was able to install it and now it works :D.
If it says that the application is not compatible with the phone just click continue.

Set the phone date back by 7-8months...
Than install the app...
After doing that reset the date back to routine...

transfer the sis file into your phone via bluetooth or connect your phone to the pc via usb cable and install thought PC suite.. if you get a certificate error try setting your phone's date back to 2006..
