Hi, I hope someone can please help with a problem I have.

I own a Nokia N73 phone. A couple of weeks ago I installed TomTom 6 onto it with help from this forum. It worked brilliantly.

The problem came when my daughter needed it on her phone (a N73).

Whatever I did, I could not get it to install. In the end we swapped memory cards and after entering an activation code, it worked, as well as it did on mine.

Now when I try to install TomTom on my phone (on my daughters old memory card) it just wont work.

I get all the files and map transfered by card reader but the application just wont start up.

Does anyone have any idea why I can't get it to work, or what the remedy is??

Why not make a backup of the working card, and then put it on the card that is not working.
Format the card first before transferring files, it just sounds a bit strange that it will not work from that card, maybe corrupt data on it?

Thanks for the reply Neelix, I did try that. The old card still works in my daughters phone, but the back up does not work once it has been copied onto the 'new' card, even when formatted!

Any other ideas? Cheers.

I've cracked the problem now with some help from a guy at 'gsmhosting'
