my AVG is updated and scanned 2 files infected by the virus: Adware generic:RMN & Adware Generic:RMJ..... the infected files are 'krnsvr32.dll' & 'wmdmb32.dll' which are found at C:windows/system32/... but AVG can't heal it. i tried avast(latest version but not updated) didn't found a virus...
my questions are:
what is the effect of that kind of virus?
- - -because i don't see any problem, i just noticed that when i click
- - -internet, explorer. there is a pop-up window [advertisement - NSIS
- - -media] but it is still unusual...
can i just delete those files?!

mayb you could try to quarantine it because once you quarantine it will will be deleted from the source and put into avg's folder....if i not mistaken

search for prevx1.. great problem.. Or else, look for spybot.. Either, do a full scan and post the results..

does move to vault option didn't work also? well i stronly suggest that you boot from the safe mode then check ur msconfig if it is running in startup if it is, then disable it then restart ur pc then boot again in the safemode and scan ur PC with avg. avg might do all the work, no need to switch from another antivirus to another. just do ur scanning on the safe mode.

@hiew88: i tried that, but everytime the scheduled full scan is running, there is always infected file and that is also the file that was quarantined(same file).
@Onfire: what is prevx1? ok i'll try spybot... but where can i get it?
@eros_jam: yes, moving it to vault didn't work... btw, i'm not that good in computer programming... how can i boot my pc into safemode(windows xp)...

when u turn ur pc on after loading memory testing press f8 often then from there it will prompt u for a boot option, option boot safe mode will be there, it up to whether you want it as safe mode w/ network support or w/o net support.

actually, i worry too much if i deleted those files because its in the folder of WINDOWS, which i think the very important files needed to make the pc run... btw, my avg is not retailed and not the free version, i got it here in ipmart w/c is pirated(everytime i update definitions, there's an alert that i'm using a pirated AVG and making my computer at risk), do you think the problem is somewhat related to the version of my AVG? btw those virus had just gone, without doing anything. i just keep on updating virus definitions, and when i started a full scan, no virus detected and when i checked the file(w/c is infected) in the WINDOWS folder, its gone...

well even im having the same version of AVG, there is no prob in having tat.. make sure u keep updating ur virus definitions.. that makes ur pc more risk free n virus free.. i think that update of ur definitions solved the prob..
cheers;)
