Just to get the idea - we have released a cellphone software that will make your telecommunications more secure and less expensive. If you know what is Skype, TiVi or Gizmo, then you will appreciate our VoIP application that will work on your Nokia telephone just the way it does on your computer.

We welcome you to encrypted conversations over cellular phones, mobiles and handys - whatever you call them!

It is not just push-to-talk! It is true, realtime, full duplex, encrypted voice-over-IP connection for subscribers of GPRS and 3G networks.

Tested on NOKIA N80, N91, N93, E60, E61 and E70

Install into your phone, get a free account at tivi.com and then you can call other TIVI users with VOIP...

Imagine it, for example two Nokia N80 with WIFI access calling one each other at NO COST.

Also works between any combination of phone and PC. There are client versions for Symbian 2nd & 3rd Edition and PC.

It's so easy and it REALLY ROCKS

Ceanth, it works with GPRS/3G and WIFI connections... perhaps you need first to find some way/app to share the PC internet connection with your 6680 via BT or USB...

Groovy this app is wicked! Needs a LOT of work but the basic functionality is there. There doesn't seem to be a support forum on [Only registered and activated users can see links] so I don't know where the TIVI discussion is going on other than here. In video call the loudspeaker is not activated which is really annoying, but hopefully time will fix this. It is free to call any other tivi client, providing you do it over wifi, but if you want to call telephone numbers or use GPRS etc you have to pay.

One tip for those of you behind firewalls/routers - open up port 5060 to your phone's ip address (can be found in router), this will allow you to receive calls.

Another tip: You can call people by entering in their tivi username. You can also use their ip address, but this won't track where they are if they go to a different network obviously. However, you cannot add usernames to the phonebook, just numbers, so to add a new contact in the tivi phonebook by their username, type in the username for the name, then highlight it with the pen key and click copy, then click ok and paste that name in to the number field. (slightly unclear description, sorry!)

Hmm... I can't help you there. I have had the same issue with chat. I try and chat with someone who I can video and voice call with, and it says connection timeout. Sometimes it works though. It is either a server-side issue where they haven't quite sorted out their traffic flow yet, or something in the phones/pcs, I really dunno.

I found the support forum -
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Best bet would be to post a message there and see if the admins or other users can help you out.

When I click the call button on PC client, I don't get any choice at all.

ah sorry I'm talking about the mobile version, that's why we're here hehe ;)

I'd hazard a guess that its not supported on the PC yet, judging by the lack of any webcam options in the settings pane :(

Have you tried clicking on the "send video" button once your call is answered? I just downloaded the file link by hyp3x a few messages back.
