hi mates, i've found this usefull app in n80IE support page.....it works well on my n80, and i thing it will work on all 3rd edition phones...:)

nice app, works on the n80 firm4.xxx but i got a question, ti only starts the native web browser, anybody with a bit of knowlodge can actually make this app great letting the user to decide which browser to open? I currently use opera, opera mini and last the native, as it does not store any login data and very often i have to go trough the FON (foneros) networks.....

you can find it in your menu, in the same folder where all apps are installed...! :|

That was the first place I looked; it's not there. However it shows up the the App manager as installed. Any suggestions?

Look under a new folder called "Extras" in Menu.

While I was looking for this application my E60 crashed and now will not boot, all I get is the white "Nokia" screen. I'm going to have format it.

hey anyone of you got it installed on memory card? because when i installed this it did not ask where to install, it just installed itself into my phone memory which made my memory drop down to 38mb which was previously 39 mb :(

it's "auto" installed onto Phone Memory... don't worry.. think it needs to liaise with the wifi fuctions on the phone, that's why...

but it's not working N91 :/

Isn't No. 1 similar to seeing available wi-fi's when you have activated your phone to scan for available wi-fi's (Settings/Connection/Wireless LAN/Show availability)?

Otherwise I think the ParkWiFi does the same job!!!

n80 and n80ie use the same hardware(rm-92) so i think it will be possible..i hope to have N80ie firmware as soon as possible...:party:

hey guys! i just got me yesterday a nokia n80.and as it was expected i have some questions
1.how do i know if my nokia n80 is the internet edition?
2.how do i connect to wireless internet and if i do so can i surf like any other internet connection?i mean i can browse whatever page or site i want or are there some restrictions?

I prefer parkwifi. Idle screen doesnt work in E60, and it wont even launch the browser.. besides the 'start-da-browser' is one only one tick compared to starting browser via the wlanwizard..

dial *#0000# on your phone and look for rm-code??

Not sure about E70, but it works in my E60. Sadly, the best part of the application, ability to view hotspots from the main screen of the phone, does not function.

I use both wlan wizzard and hotspot finder in my n80.hotspot work in background to scan for wifi,u can setup the time interval to scan and alarm sound when find wifi.here screenshots [Only registered and activated users can see links] and [Only registered and activated users can see links]

YES, it is....if u have last fw version...:)

It works either stored on the memory card or main memory this application will work.Working on my N93 AND N93I....BUT.....It does not find the spots whenever the phone is idle.
