PocketClock 1.5

Overview

PocketClock is a multifunctional clock/alarm/timer/stopwatch utility that enables the user to measure time in almost unlimited ways. The current day and time can be displayed in both Digital and Analog formats. The Alarm view allows the user to set up to 20 different alarms. The Timers view offers 4 countdown clocks, which can be run simultaneously. The Stopwatch view will track event times to the hundredth of a second and complete with an unlimited number of split times. The Events view will calculate how far away a user-specified future event (e.g., the new year or your wife’s birthday) is in months, weeks, days, hours, minutes or seconds.

But the software can do still more - there are several other views as well. Want to know what time the sun will rise tomorrow in your city? Want to know the minute that the moon will full? What time is it in London right now? In Tokyo? PocketClock has the answer to all of these questions and more!

The software is highly customizable. If the user’s home city is not among the 500 predefined cities in the application, additional cities can be defined (by longitude and latitude) and added to the program database. Each view includes a customizable status bar, so the user’s favorite views can be just a tap away at all times.

I don't rec'd this at all. Used it for 2yrs. Missed alarms about 70% of the time. Luckily I wake up by myself anyway and also have flexi work hours. Maker blames PPC notification issues. Well SPB Time only misses 10% of the time. I'm on PPC2003, maybe WM5 users have no probs, I duno.

Also, what's worse is depending how u set times, it doesn't update the time of alarm and will work in the old alarm time.

i don't care about the alarms and stuff...i used this with my TyTN (WM5) for the countdown clock and only that. So basically thats the feature that i'm only working and i need this for my new WM6 phone as well.

Of course if anyone has any good alternative of a countdown clock only i'm open on suggestions

I thought my wizcode pocket alarm is the best, but this one looks even greater. I can't wait to download it and try it on my Xda Stealth. Hope that this will be the last pocket clock/alarm that i will install on my ppc, hehe. Thanks for this great application!!!

-------------------------

I tried it but unfortunately I found some lapses in the program within two days of trial. Some lapses that I encountered are:
- It only supports .wav files audio
- It cannot play the whole audio file. It can only be palyed at a maximum of 5seconds and repeat it at a maximum of 5 times with a maximim of 10repeating alarms.
- Snoozed alarm does not worked.
- The specified days in the alarm did not worked. (The alarm played when I am already at the office Wednesday though I specified it to alarm only Monday)...

Hence, I end up uninstalling it and replace with other software.
Thanks for the upload though. :drinkers:

Working great on WM 6, but with one glitch.
Each time I use it, it prompts me for choosing home city... seems it doesn't save the setting. A minor glitch but still annoying. Any fixes??
