Having testing today (10 november), rapidshare runs correctly.
You must check firewall, antivirus and other anti-popup to use rapidshare.
Hope it can help.

Mirko BGD,
Have you intsall the latest Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver? Install the latest version since if you have the old version, the N93 will not be recognized.
If you already install the driver, try to restart. Take note: You must c**ck the Phoenix 2006 first since if you are using the none c**ck Phonix version, the app will never start

Got this from Nokia Support:
Dear Updaters
There has been much talk and speculation about the Nokia N93 and the Nokia Software Updater, so here are the facts.
N93 release V2.0 was first made available to the public on 16 October. We monitor update statistics and noticed an unacceptably high number of potential update failures being reported. This was also matched by a high number of posts in these boards about customers claiming to have problems and some ending up with devices which could not be switched on again.
These two factors meant our only option was to disable the product temporarily while investigations took place - that was on 3 November, and our investigations are still continuing. There are technical differences between updating using Nokia Software Updater and updating in a service point - the only problems are updating with NSU.
We are studying ways to rectify the situation in a satisfactory manner, and hope to be able to offer software updates for the N93 in early 2007.
We apologize for the inconvenience, frustration and disappointment caused.

Donwloaded it from another location! just google the file name from the EXE that did not work!
Mabe that server is a bit buggy, as it said download complete, although only 80 odd Mb file size.
Updated my phone from 20.xx emea to 20.xxx apac, nice, not chinese characters can be seen on my phone once more, Also do not select APAC-1 for location, otherwise even when you turn off warning tones, camera shutter sounds will still exist. I used Hong kong location, all good

Mazor,
Could you post where you got the un-corrupted APAC file from? I am desperately seeking the APAC firmware. Just migrated from N91. Most contacts are in Chinese so with EMEA version I have, I am unable to read them. Thanks in advance!

Hello, just google it!
It takes trial and error
Many sites are closed, or busy, but I had to keep trying, until one would let me download it. In the end one site I did get it from, was too slow, so I cancelled. Downloaded it from a site that previously said it was busy.
To make sure you have not a corrupt one, the download size should be 180mb approx size

One sure thing is the spelling, second one is the way you pronounce them... LOL
EMEA and APAC doesn't have major difference. Most of them are the same but both of them is for dedicated region areas. APAC is for Asia Pacific/ Australia (I guess) while EMEA is for Europe and others... Which means, the language will be different... Correct me if I am wrong....
