View Full Version : Kind and polite question to mods and USERS =simcard= 14th November 2006, 18:15 *****deleted**** PapaDocta 14th November 2006, 18:19 maybe they are a little busy to go over all of those posts to check... and i agree with you on the spam threads it should be eliminated... clean threads will help when you are looking for a specific thing... i agree with you.. cheers robosiris 14th November 2006, 18:45 (This is a big comunity and continuosly growing by the hour and I can only imagine the Moderators have a difficult time tracking every rule infraction that occurs. I think the moderators do a fantastic job supervising the thread, and I'm sure they're doing the best they can. Techology is a b**tch, and I mean that in a good way. More phones, companies, applications, (and of course beta testing for our benefit) come out by the truck loads feeding needs and our cellphones is another aspect to consider. An excellent point by you simcard mentioning the many violations that occurs on a daily basis that appears to go un-noticed/un-address is aggrevating and bothersome to most (non-noobs), unprofessional. I'm not going to complain, gripe, or point fingers at anyone because that's not going to resolve anything. There's way too many genuine and good people here that made valuable contributions, even if (like me) given their opinion or feedback about an app or two. Also there are way too many good people here not to come up with a reasonable or better way of dealing violators (sort of speak - you know what i mean). I want to do my part in being part of the solution, not the problem, and that's where my focus is act. Being that this community is really "us", let be part of the solution and not leave all the work for the Mods. Just my long-winded two cents. The Mullet of G 14th November 2006, 19:01 Hello all! I would like to ask why the Global rules and forum spesific rules are not enforced? Few examples: * Trial softwares are allowed to post without consequences * Non-working keygens are allowed without consequences * Non english messages are allowed without consequences * Dbl-posts are allowed without consequences * Even requests are allowed without consequences * There are plenty of threads reaching up to 15-20 pure spam when non-working/fake/old keygen is posted. * Threads/posts are not cleaned even when reported Please no flames! I dont wanna sound picky, not at all. This is great forum and community. Let us keep the forums clean. This message is targeted for all. After all you mods are doing GREAT job. Thank you! :win: Kind regards, Sim Although I agree with most if not all of your points your post is somewhat contradictory in its nature, you make several examples of how mods are not enforcing the rules as stated, thus implying that they are not doing there jobs properly, and then at the end you throw in some major ass kissing that contradicts everything you just said. If you are going to make a point then make it without the contradictory ass kissing as it just falls flat otherwise. pinksteady 14th November 2006, 21:50 wow even criminals have work and community ethics! Eagle1 14th November 2006, 22:11 wow even criminals have work and community ethics! YOU are the only criminal here, WE are NOT! Pls DON'T spam this thread. Simcad made a very good and important observation to help us ALL and now you want to spam it. No offence intended but 'Get lost' The Mullet of G 14th November 2006, 22:27 I said no flames please. I pointed out some issues in purpose. I said "after all". No need for ass kissing. Please do not turn this thread to spam. :) I wasn't flaming you dude I was pointing out the rather obvious. I'm all for people standing forward and making a point, infact had you did just that I'd have given you rep for it, but that ass kissing stuff irritated me somewhat. You also forgot another of the rules that isn't being observed - 15. No member may act in the forum as if they were a moderator. Leave the moderation up to the moderator team. And with that I rest my case. ;) The Mullet of G 14th November 2006, 22:33 YOU are the only criminal here, WE are NOT! Pls DON'T spam this thread. Simcad made a very good and important observation to help us ALL and now you want to spam it. No offence intended but 'Get lost' I think you need to step down of your high horse and smell the BS, if your here downloading cracked software then you are breaking the law and as such that makes you and the rest of us criminals. With that in mind your post also falls into the spam bracket, remember - think then post not the other way around. ;) Rinoa45 14th November 2006, 22:45 Please it's no use of flaming each other. We will wait for senior moderator and admin reply. One more thing, you posted this in a wrong section. Rinoa45 14th November 2006, 22:54 There are forum support sections: suggestions and user problem & support. Circassian 14th November 2006, 22:55 * Trial softwares are allowed to post without consequences * Non-working keygens are allowed without consequences * Non english messages are allowed without consequences * Dbl-posts are allowed without consequences * Even requests are allowed without consequences * There are plenty of threads reaching up to 15-20 pure spam when non-working/fake/old keygen is posted. * Threads/posts are not cleaned even when reported Well... for the 1st: Sometimes it is good to post trials if they are kinda rare like some kinda news about a great new app.. 2nd: in many cases the keygen didn't work for many people so if the mod tried it and didn't work, its not a good idea to delete it immediatly. i think they do good by letting it open for a while even for a bit long while (take the best call recorder for example. nobody guessed that the keygen worked till 2 or 3 pages were filled coz it worked when using other product in the keygen) 3rd: I think no harm in that if it was a line or two in the post. 4th & 5th: It is a must (coz it may become confusing and annoying). 6th & 7th: I agree two especially when its about pages full of "Thank you thank you... bla bla bla" without any help about it works or doesn't on specific device.. And final i think a post like this is necessary to remind the mods.. and to keep this forum great. Kassad 14th November 2006, 22:56 I think we could just keep this thread for couple of days and then consider removing it. I liked the idea. Glad to see many of your members does like the work we do. But please to not criticize and don`t use bad word to others members meaning about the thread. Here you have the possibility show us if you like this site or not. Remember don`t spam this thread. You will get a warning and if it does continue you will be banned. youzef 14th November 2006, 23:36 well as a mod myself it is somehow repetitve i just say no double post , no advertisment , no whatsoever....i am really serious some members here dont read the rules just post and get warned then banned...so a solution could be is to send them a PM about the rules and welcoming them...i hope some other plans too will be taken now... pinksteady 15th November 2006, 04:06 YOU are the only criminal here, WE are NOT! Pls DON'T spam this thread. Simcad made a very good and important observation to help us ALL and now you want to spam it. No offence intended but 'Get lost' :???: Since this thread is marked as *deleted* I think we can continue this without fear of persection ... if you download a cracked program you are a criminal! Like it or not, it applies to you, me and everyone. I'm a criminal, I make that choice, but don't pretend like somehow you are above all that, just because you disagree with the system. And as for me 'spamming', my comment was inspired by a genuine interest in how there are so many rules and regulations in a community that thrives off stealing and hacking etc. I'm not dissing anyone here, we all make our decisions, I am here and downloading etc, but you gotta understand and accept that what you are doing is wrong and there is no way around that. If you support the rules etc, how about refraining from telling people to 'get lost', as you so constructively put it, as you have no right to tell anyone what to do. Besides, most people's general ethics, regardless of enforced rules, would stop them from talking to complete strangers like that in the first place. So let's not live in denial and get on with enjoying free software like the true criminals we are haha Antone Samy 15th November 2006, 08:52 :???: Since this thread is marked as *deleted* I think we can continue this without fear of persection ... if you download a cracked program you are a criminal! So let's not live in denial and get on with enjoying free software like the true criminals we are haha Not for all , there are many people (like me) that live in countries that not support the proper original softwares , there is no-way to get them & also there is no support for internet paying (PayPal,..) , having only 2 choises : >Not to get them at all (no computer , no mobile & no other softwares...) just watch :!: >Or just trying to get them free from these communities .- we r forced to get them free - Also these softwares r very expensive to get all u want by paying & not all of us have much money to pay for them . PapaDocta 15th November 2006, 14:35 why delete the post.. can't we just be civilized and discuss this matter... it is hard to find what you want with all the spam ... !! japo 15th November 2006, 16:10 First so that it is clear he edited his own post ! It’s still in a quote in post #3 if anybody is interested ….. Second I heard a lot that we are too strict and such , I think this is a first , for me at least . Guys how can we control every body and every thing , ban every newbie user that posts spam ?? Should we check every attachment on every post to verify it’s working ,or that it’s a double post ….. ??? Needless to say I very much doubt that all of this is true , every important spam and every confirmed double post have always been trashed ….. Just check trash for yourself My 2 cents …….. =simcard= 15th November 2006, 17:17 @japo I deleted my post. Because thread got spammy. I thanked mods for their great job. My message was aimed for users too. Please consult Kassad about me and my attitude if you want. Kind regards, :) Sim |
