buddy, for ur sake i hope its not a boot sector virus! if so then nothin can be done...

u can try a debug on ur hard drive, but u need to run debug after loading an OS like win98 or something... try and google debug, u will find a small script about 6 lines, which maybe will help with ur virus issue

Don't seems to be virus, it might be hdd error. Try to low level format your hard drive then create partition and format again and see how?

it depends on the hardisk brand, for example for maxtor hardisk, just go to maxtor website and download the disk manager and follow the screen instruction..

Low level format is a nice idea, but beware, this method can harm u hdd mate. better u scan with another antivirus with latest virus definition. if u sure it's not a virus, but because hardware error. u can try LLF ur hdd.

if you have an ultimate boot cd then your problem is solved all you have to do is browse the program that would suite to hdd brand and then choose set zero or low level formating although it takes a lot of time but definitely this should work if your thinking of it as a virus but in my perception i have never heard of this kind of virus so far. if low level format dont work more or less you have a problem on your hdd or MBR problem.
