Which version is newest and can work on subjected version of Tomtom?
I'm interested for eastern and western maps particulary.

New maps are due out any day now from TomTom

Well, I have v608 Eastern Europe map atm and I think that it's the latest working version on TTM 5.21, dunno if it can recognize newer one.

Is there maybe some kind of patch or smth similar that can make older versions to work with newer maps?

The newest maps for TT GOs will work with TT5 so you should have no problems with them. It's just the maps especially for TT6 which will not work with other units eg TT5. AFAIK
