guys i need help. i have a problem with my pc. every time i turn on my pc it loads to windows xp as it should be but after the welcome screen it restarts by itself. i tried reinstalling winxp but the same problem occurs. i usually encounter a blue screen error and it says there "there's a problem with the acpi.sys" i don't know what it means. do i have to buy a new mobo for this or could there be a problem with my processor or memory. hoping for a help soon guys. tnx

might be power management settings in bios or try here
