That’s great . . . but Rapid Share is absolute crap!!! :vom: for me at least, it hardly ever lets me DL it gives me “Download-session invalid” keeps wanting me to pay for a premium account. :cry:

My TT One v2 came with UK & Republic of Ireland which I copied to a 1GB SD Card
I have now (thanks to Keygenerator_TomTom_GO_ONE.zip:D ) installed the following additional maps within individual folders simply named 1,2,3,4,and 5; I don’t know is this is relevant in any way? :???:

USA West v567.0

Iberia v652.1204
And also
Iberia (ES and PT +) v650.1046

Canary Islands v652.1204
And also
Canary Islands v650.1045

As soon as I get a 4GB card I will endeavour to load more, that is assuming the TT one will read from a 4GB card :?:

some downloads have several zipped files making one complete file, but when I try to extract them into one folder rar or winzip says the file already exsists and asks me if i want to over write. How do i over come this?

I can't get mine to work, and loading the mms file with key gen and getting an activation code but the code is not unlocking the map. I am not able to put spaces in the tomtom with the activation code its all one number. What am I doing wrong? please help

You don't have to put spaces, it should work without, at least mine did (TT ONE 1Gen + SE_DK_NO_and_FI_plus_major_roads_of_WE_V650.1128).

Does anybody know if it is possible to change name for the map (and same name to *.mid file)? I would like to have shorter names for maps.

No, there should be *.mid file inside the map directory, same name as the map. Try to change "folder options" -> "Show hidden files and folders" if You can't see *.mid file.

"Need activated 'Primary' map to activate this one" means that the map you are trying to activate isn't a primary map. You need to have an activated main map to activate it on your TomTom One.

Firstly, you have to find the file 'mapname'.mid in the map folder. This file has all information the keygenerator needs. Then you have to do this:

On yor PC, Create a folder. Name it TomTom.
Copy the file 'mapname'.mid to it.
Copy the keygen 'key.exe' to it.
Open the command window in windows.
(Start-Programs-Accessories-Command-prompt)
Type in 'CD C:\'
Type in 'CD Tomtom'
Type: key.exe 'mapname'.mid
Enter the device code (XXXXXYYYYY).

You will now receive the activation code: xxxxx yyyyy zzzzz

Enter it in your tomtom without spaces.

YOU ARE NOW DONE

I've got a TomTom GO 500, I've just downloaded the version 6.250 software from the TomTom site ...but I've got an older version of the Australian map.

I desperately want the LATEST Aussie map ...so can one of you guys help me out in one reply by:

1. Posting a link to the LATEST suitable AUSSIE map for download? (I'll save it in a designated folder on my computer)

2. Posting a link to the KEYGEN that I'll need to get the map running on my GO 500 ...along with STEP-BY-STEP instructions as to how & where I should save it?

3. Posting an STEP-BY-STEP process to installing the MAP and KEYGEN on my GO 500 so that it all works OK?

If someone could do this for me ...I will be ETERNALLY grateful ...and will extend a permanent invite to the person to come and hang out with us DOWN UNDER! (Perth, Western Australia)

You have to transfer the new (aussie) map folder to your TomTom SD-card. You can do that in two ways, use a card writer or with a direct connection to your device.
All code generation do you do on your PC.

How can i replace my "primary" map ? i want install the latest Western Europe Map and i have my original Italy map... and only a 1GB SD so i cannot have both installed...

I seemed to have come across a problem that i haven't read in here before.
I Inserted the map folder Western_Europe in to the SD Card. Switched on the TomTom and went to change the Map over from UK_Ir to Western_Europe.

It asked me for a key which i had having generated it using keygen.exe

I made a mistake by entering the key with spaces in it but TomTom seemed to accept it ok but then it just crashed and would not boot properly. I deleted the maps and reinstalled but still had no luck to switching to Western_europe.
Deleted and went back to UK Map and it was fine but no luck with Western Europe as it is not asking me for a key anymore. Just keeps crashing now.
Installed a map of Central Europe and it works fine just having a problem with Western Europe. Anything i can do to get it to ask for the key again? Help?

The .mid file is a hidden file - you will need to enable the setting to view hidden files - open up a folder - go to tools - folder options - view tab - show hidden files and folder. It might look like it is a midi file & it will be 1kb.

Are you sure the map is compatible with your TTv1. I thought V1 used TeleAtlas and v2 used Navteq (or vice versa)?

sorry, this is not correct,

the TomTom One New use also Teleatlas,
only the TomTom One New Europe have cards from Navteq (Western_Europe_6.60_1256),
all regional cards are from Teleatlas
all old cards are also from Teleatlas

Unrar the map archive and you will have several files. The file with the .mid extention may be hidden so you have to configure your PC to show hidden files, however try this code and let me know: 38QYBDECDT7HEUS

I've downloaded the latest V650 Australian Map, and when I turn on my TT it tells me to activate the 'product' (the new Aussie Map) ...and then to visit www.ttcode.com to get the activation code.

On ttcode.com it asks for a product (map) code before it can generate a suitable activation code ...but I don't have the right product (map) code for the V650 Australian Map, so I can't get / generate the correct activation code to get my map working!:cry:

Can anyone here tell me the correct product code (normally found on the product code card) for the V650 Australian map?

OR ...can someone give / generate me an Activation code I can put in my TomTom to get the map working?

I don't think so, because when I was trying to get activation code for my original map PL_CZ_HU_SK, it was different then code which I received from ttcode.com.
But I have no better idea so I'll try to solve the problem following your instruction.

Navcore is the Application Version or O/S loaded to & running on your device.
Presume currently at v6.xxx ....could upgrade to at least v7.9xx & load v7 & v8 Iberia map for same coverage.
