br i have a porb with my hard drive all the other hard drive works properly but the one drive is not working properly when i click it (when i try to open it)i will post the pic also plz see this when i put some file in my k drive the file is succefully go in to the drive k but when i try to open it it will say "K (access is denied ) )see the pic and bro plz give me the solution of this prob as siin as possible i m waiting for reply

i think follow the following steps
first go to folder option
at the end u will see " simple file sharing"
uncheck it
then right click on the drive u r having problem
go to security
the check whether is administrator or ur user has rights to read it
if not then check all the boxs or
click add ... advance...find now and then select the adminis...
and then ok ok.

I think maybe ur partition table error mate. u can fix it using active partiton table recovery. i don't know where to get this software. u can using hiren's boot cd, it's already included inside. ;)

thx for all who trying to help me there is no such type of problem only my K "drive" is infected with virus (K drive "autorun.inf " is infected with virus ) now it remove and my drive is working again i m worried bcz it is second time my drive giving me same message that k drive "access is denied" so i ask u and Blue_ray Kaspersky successfully activated i dl the software form the site which u have told me i dl the software and also i found the key but the key is not working anyway i found anyother key and it works now my antivirus exp 5/24/2007 (again thx for all that who trying to help ME (:-) ):ilove:
