Thanks dude, I was looking for this one. do you have serial for this.

I haven't seen a uiq2 virus or haven't heard of one since I bought my first uiq phone. I think you can rest a sure that there are no uiq3 viruses out there ... install other usefull softwares (like worldmate, profimail etc) and worry less about uiq viruses

guys... is anyone get stuck? after few time i update my firmware n reinstall the antivirus, i cant register it again.. it's become trial but i get password n it say trial.. everytime i tick register button it ask me to buy the antivirus.

Are u guys sure there's no viruses for UIQ3 phones?lately my cell sometimes send the same sms twice, or more while i juz pushed the send button once, and when people try to call me all they get is a busy tone. I am wondering if my phone really is infected with virus?or it's just some network provider problem?

de mcfree virus scan does not work effectively...any better ones to recommended for uiq3 platform? cos got a videos send by bluetooth n it showns commwarrior'tats da virus..my bluetooth connection cant turn it off in da end have to master reset n format my memory card as well....

AVG also has released an antivirus software for UIQ3 devices. Find it attached..

Do note that afaik there are no viruses as such for UIQ3 phones. So there is really no need for it...

AVG has released a Antivirus For UIQ3. Works without any hitches on my W950i.

there's no virus of any kind on any uiq, guys.. anti-virus apps are not that urgent to have. thanks.

Why they should update it when there´s no viruses for UIQ3 devices? Leave your phone without AV, it´s safe believe me

xD Hehe buuuurn.. now i have p1i its great. But before i had a m600i, i got it with McAfee Firewall. All it did was to make other UIQ programs/games lag or load slower.
So you don't need that **** untill you hear of a virus for uiq3.

yah! i had the same problem with cotin. I installed mcafee then my programs/ games are loading slower so i decided to uninstall it. and just in case there would be a virus for uiq3, i have my AVG and so far i haven't notice any lag. i haven't scanned any virus yet on my phone so i guess this would protect my phone (i hope so).

i used mcafree antivirus for my W950i but i can't turn the damn firewall off.....i used that a long time ago, there are other ones too, i think there is a pack i downloaded that has 8 antivirus programs but those lag ur fone and aren't really useful. I don't even think viruses are really that big a threat to fones, in fact i even downloaded a virus pack for fones and tested and it doesn't work.

Dont use Mcafee, it's pathetic Antivirus.. I am using AVG and is working well. Detected few viruses also in my memory stick.

Why don't you try AVG free mobile anti virus?

For me the best way of being free of viruses is to scan the files in a PC with AVG free version, I found some viruses in the installation files, but it can detect as well viruses in installed files of the phone.

if really there is no virus for uiq...so what happened with my friend's phone..
she use sony ericsson p1i, but when she use wifi hotspot..she said that the phone keep automatically running the blackberry's software..
can someone tell me what's wrong with my friend's phone??

if you think you have a virus on your phone, just attach it to pc, and scan it with antivirus that is installed in your computer... :D

whats the point lol? people creating viruses for a dead platform?, so do these scan for actual viruses that run on uiq3 or scan the stick for things that might be harmfull to computers u plug into? the latter sounds usefull for most people....but sadly not me, linux ftw :P
