I'm new in this forum. I want ask to all of you guys to do me a favor, please. In device manager the ethernet controller is showing as a yellow question mark, when investigated it appears it has no drivers. Where do I get some from? thank's

well, it depends on ur ethernet card and motherboard...

find out if its onboard ethernet adapter(most likely) or a PCI card attached. if its a pci card, u most likely received a cd which wud have the drivers u need.

if its onboard, again look for the cd u got with the motherboard. it will have ur network card drivers...

if u dont have any cds, then just search the net(google) with ur motherboard make/bios version and network drivers. if its an intel board, u will get drivers from intel site, just need to know which motherboard u have...

I install the network card for my PC who using Windows 2000, but i cannot find the create network connection icon local area network icon.

Anyone can assist ?
