Hi, thereI´m new here in this Forum and I have a smale Prob with my MT-Box Nokia. When ever I connect the to the PC the Box wil found without any Problem. But when I try to connect a Phone to the Box I get this Failure
Phone is in: Phone is not responding, power on phone!
Hallo ?? Is it possible that I need a power Supply for the Box ?? Is there someone who can help me ??

no you dont need power supply you need only 10>8 pin adapteryou cant conect cabledirectly to box you need the adapter i mentioned after that you need to power on the phone before doing any operation some of the cables are not compatible with mt box so you need to change some of the resistors in it

Thanks for Reply. I got the complete Cable Set with the Box. So i used the original Cable with Adapter. The red LED on the Adapter is glowing, but it is not possible to switch the Phone on. I tried with different Phones like 1600, 2310, 6101. With the other Boxes ( GTS , Tornado) the Phones switches automatacly in Local Mode. With the MT Box not. Sorry, I can´t understand this. What wil be happend with a dead Phone ??

ialso have this problem,it is the adapter spoil ,connect to phone no respone,like mr brain said,who can help

after you conect your phone to cable you have to manually power on the phone only dct3 are powered by themselves when you conect the phone power on and press phone info button after that if you have instaled the phone data package the mcu ppm and cnt files are already selected or if you want to flashanother product you just choose product code with desired language and press flash and that's it
if you have a death phone and cant get phone info you have to select phone model and files by yourself
i dont want to be a wise guy but you could see this folder on support :-)

yeah? I read all manuals, no info there that advise new user like me to use adapter between box and phone.

I cant boot any phone since i have installed my mtbox(nokia) and awaiting iphone (my reseller) to cleary explain to me why there is no compatible adater sent wiht my box.

i wonder how u connect your phone to the box, is the acp-12 charger has o be plugged in also?

pls guide me.

my friend you have to use the charger for s.ericsson phones only or phones with vpp enabled i'm not sure but you should have 10>8 pin adapter in your's mt box package i dont knoow what's the problem but it works for me and most of the users
iphone is a good reseler i dont buy from him but everyone says good words for them
maybe they forgot to send the adaptor to you or it was not included in your order so you ask them
but mt is a great tool and i think i s the best i have jaf i have hwk but when you see this working you know which is the best tool for nokia
order of conection is this:
computer >usb cable>mt box>10 to 8 pin adaptor> phone fbus cable if you use this order there shouldnt be any problem

i think i have to return my mtbox to iphone, may be its a faulty one they sent me. i have many boxes and have used many other boxes, this mtbox gave me headache, i have experiences faulty boxes sent from this reseller before.

saym problem with the MTbox when i connect the box it says "Phone not found" no matter what i do . nothing is responding. in other devices like Jaf or Twister it is solving without any problem.

i have the same problem with my mt box nokia , i can't connect any phone
message is : phone is in .phone is not connected...
but when i try with virtual com for example for unlocking bb5 with dejan soft;cable rj45 for 7210,
it work correctly?????????

I am suffering the same problem .
they didn't send the adapter cable with the box. But, the cables are all in 10 pins form which means that it can be used directly without an adapter.
so i understood that this problem is from the inside of the box
something wrong at the hardware of these boxes.

we want a solution a real solution not just talk ????????

ì have the same problem bro ,i recieved the whole package with the adapter and i tried with a 3220 and didnt red it ,when i conected without the adapter ,it red the phone info and i even unlocked it,what seems tobe the problem here? i used other 12 boxes and neither one gets me the creeps ,like this one

Here is the solucion of your problem fellas ,i just figure it out ,the box conector has 10 pins ,wich the adaptor ends on 8 pins , so the cable has to have 8 pins also to be conected to the adapter ,i notice that none of my cables has 8 pins ,they all have 10 pins so you can conect it straight to the box ,it worked for me ,and if you wanna used the adpter ,you need to plug the universalbox cables ,that has 8 pins ,it worked for me also ,,hope this was alot of help for most of you .....just thanx me

Try this way,
1) connect adaptator to your phone (not full contacts) but only power pins.
2) now turn on the power on/off button.
3) connect normally adaptator to phone (full pins)

4) change your phone model from Mt_panel
5) press "INFO"
