Does anyone have trouble with TomTom 6 on their N73 at all?

I have it working 100% fine on my phone, using a high speed 2gb memory card and ME firmware, but my friend with the same setup (although different brand card, he has tried 2 though) is having big problems. iit works ok on silent, but whenever a voice command is said the map freezes, then jumps back into gps location.

obviously this isnt good in the city or at all really!

it seems strange that it works fine on mine but not on his! i cant try my card in his phone though, as we only speak over msn.

any advice...?

Maybe he has many POI's turned on. It slowing down the mobile much in my case. I have all POI's turned off always, unless I need one. Try it

All POI are off yet I still have this problem. The 3d map display freezes then jumps to catch up whenever a voice prompt is heard.

This happens when using the GPS live or when running the route demo.

I tried it in a friends N73 and it does the same thing.

sneeks! iv had another look at mine mate, as iv only ever used it whist driving and it does pause when voice commands are on, but it doesnt seem to effect the maps at all or the directions. it pauses then continues from the correct location, it doesnt seem to speed up to catch up!

iv only really looked at it properly whilst being a passenger the other day!

Yeah the map doesn't speed up as such it just jumps instantly to the correct location. If you run the route demo you'll see the same thing happen.

Have N73 (Firmware V3.0638.0.0.1) RM-133
Running TT version 6.010 with 2 gig card and nokia LD-3W GPS
with UK and Ireland plus major roads of W. Europe
